We all sat at the table and started to eat i took a bite from a panckake and whimpered in pain ,i stared at those panckakes like they were my biggest enemy
"Here try some soft eggs " grandma says and hands me a plate of fresh cooked eggs , i started to eat them eventough my mouth hurts ,soon after everyone was ready we got our shoes on and me and carson got in our parents car.
We pulled in the parking lot of the big clinic ,as our parents got down from the car carson got down too but before closing the door he looked at me
"Come on " he says and our parents look at us ,i guess i don't have much of a choice we enter the clinic mom and dad greet the people and we get to the examroom
"Eh...long time no see" dad says patting the dental chair
"Im off to the bathroom" carson says as he gets out ,how could he leave me lije that?!,our parents prepped themselves and my mother looked at me
"Come sweetheart ,have a seat " she says and i shake my head no she gets up from her stool and comes to me ,she kneels down ,she tries to put a hand on my shoulder and i take a few steps back then dad gets up and tries to pick me up , my breathing was increasing and i started to scream and cry ,a scared carson ran trough the door and picked me up from the floor ,he held me tight
"Everything is okay ,just breathe ,im here baby" a wave of relief ran trough my body as i was griply attached to him
"D-don't leave m-me" i sob in his chest
"Im not leaving love ,calm down okay ,everything is alright"
Our parents looked at me ,really impressed how quickly i calmed down with carson
"Why are you so scared love ,we didn't even start and you just freaked out" mom asks
"C-can carson do it ?"
"How about we take a look and see the damage and then i will tell you if carson can do it " dad says
"Okay..."i answer as carson walked to the dental chair with me in his arms and sat down and leaned me on his lap, dad switched the headlight on and got a mirror and an explorer
"Open please " dad says and i open my mouth and shut my eyes ,i can feel my brother's hands rubbing circles on mine
"Ooh..we have 2 cracked , a broken one from the root and a....cavity?" A cavity...?,carson isn't gonna like this at all
"Okay ,so i will repair the cracks and do the cavity then carson will extract the tooth out" dad says and i shake my head
"Carson can also do a cavity" i say
"Okay okay " dad answers getting some fillers from the drawer ,i feel carson getting his grip loosen , dad turns to me with a syringe wich had a wierd angle on its needle,i imediately turned my head to mom
"Rae ,its alright ,that is not anesthetic its just some bonding material to put over and between the cracks " she explains ,dad gets to work ,as he was concentrated my breathing was increasing ,carson noticed and started to rub circles on my hands
"Take deep breathes " he says and i was doing exactly what i was told, before i noticed dad took his tools out of my mouth
"She is all yours " dad says and ruffles carson's head with a soft smile as he leaves the room,carson gets up and places me on the dental chair but this time i feel more relaxed
"Do you want me to hold you ?" Mom asks and carson looks at her with sideye
"That won't be necesary ,she gets panic attacks when she doesn't know people well" he says and snaps some gloves on i shiver at the sound of them ,mom was looking at me and holding my left hand
"Okay baby open up " he says and gets some pink jelly ,not wanting to get carson mad i open my mouth ,he places the q-tip and leaves it there ,as carson was preparing the needle i looked at him and he noticed
"Nothing to worry about remember?"
I nod and see him taking the cap out of the needle ,he adjusts the light then takes the mirror on the other hand,i open my mouth and shut my eyes
"Thank you" he says and i feel the needle stab my gums ,it wasn't that bad and before i knew the needle was out ,i exhaled in relief and mom and carson laughed
"I will go see what is your dad doing " mom says as she leaves the exam room
"Carson ,when are we going back home?"
"After we are done with your mouth"
I was surprised
"Wait we are going back today!?"
"Oooh ,rae you are staying with mom and dad"
"No way!!" I stated as tears started to run down my cheecks
"We will talk about this later yeah?" He asks and i turn my face away crying
"Look ,i know its hard for you it is also for me but lets try just for one week okay? If something happens you call me and im taking you back "
"Fine..." we ended the discusion and carson got back to work
