'He saw you'

__

Moving into a new country wasn't a decision he wanted to take. He never wanted to move out of his old home, but walking through the empty halls of his bungalow filled him with pain.

The once joyful home appeared so... lonely.

The variety of junk in his room gave him no closure.

His sisters, who used to warmly call his name, were no where to be seen.

Years have passed since their disappearance

He tried...

Really hard.

To find them.

But he couldnt.

Those few years were very hard for him. Trying to forget his pain and desperation that is.

He met Shuichi at that point. Even though he was a calm person, he couldn't help but eventually pour out his sorrows to him. Just as if he was waiting  to scream his desperation to someone.

Shuichi listened.

And told him the honest truth. The truth he needed to hear.

He didn't miraculously heal afterwards but...

He was improving.

And on Shuichi advice, he decided to move out of his old house.

As he was picking up boxes out of his new bungalow.... He saw you.

Messy hair, a brush tucked under your ear with loose clothes and most of all, a beaming smile on your face.

You were taking pictures of a cat that was close by, the cat clearly relishing the attention.

The whole scene was hilarious actually, a weird woman taking a picture of an egocentric cat outside her house

The scene was so charming, so simple yet...

Yet he couldn't stop the growing blush on his face.

He assumed she was his neighbor because his house was just next to hers.

'I should go talk to her' he thought still enthralled by the strange women.

But he didn't, he stood there for a while watching her until she went back inside.

Only then he snapped out of his trance. He blinked and his shoulders tensed up, dropping the box of items and put his hand on his face.

'shit- I stared at her for so long, I feel like a creep'

With a red face Rantaro hurried inside.

Chapter 5 : The Subtle Art Of Not Giving A F*ck

The book argues that there is no success without failure, and that the fear of failure often stems from unexamined values and uncertainty. It tells you to consider the f*cks you have to give, and know they are finite. You can't, and shouldn't, care about everything
