It was imperative that John believe me dead. Unfortunately, he was as crazy as Anderson and refused to believe that I died. Moriarty's network is taking me much longer than I originally thought to destroy. His web was much larger than he allowed me to deduce. Yes, allowed. He allowed me to observe his sexuality. He hid his work with Irene Adler for as long as he wanted. He allowed me to observe and I saw what he wanted. Did I outwit him? Maybe.
John. He was currently my problem. I kept tabs on him during my death. Mycroft was my main informer in my desperate search for information on my previous flatmate. He is my problem not only because he refuses to believe my death but emotionally.
When I first left London to destroy Moriarty I had decided that John was to be forgotten for the mean time. Two weeks in and I was found myself contacting Mycroft to find information on the doctor.
The news was not what I expected. Depressed but determined. He had several spats with Anderson and refused to remove my things from the flat. He claimed it was in case I need it.
I found myself contacting Mycroft often to update the information I had. All the while I worked at destroying what was left of Moriarty.
Two years and I was no where near finished. Yet I was being taken to London because of a terrorist plot in London. In good old government fashion I had no information other than there is going to be an attack.
I was more excited to see John. He had become more of a recluse. The limp had returned and he had stopped dating all together. I was excited to be working with my doctor.
