John tore at the wall of papers stuffing them into the trash. While I watched him for some time I left to start work. With nobody knowing of my return I needed to find two more people and use my homeless network. Easy enough.
I handed the note and money on my way to St. Bart's to meet Molly. She was pleasant surprises that I had returned after so much time. I thanked her once again before going to find Lestrade.
I was watching him light a smoke. I was a little surprised that he was smoking. After revealing myself to him I could see his surprise.
"Lestrade. I have a case. All of London is depending on me right now so if I need your help I expect it." I turned and left. John was done clearing the wall by the time I had returned. He sat sleeping in his chair. Something pulled at my heart so instead of wake him up I threw a blanket over his shoulders.
Mrs. Hudson walked up the stairs with tea as I watched Johns chest rise and fall. I glanced up at her and smiled graciously accepting the cup. Now on to more important things.
I laid down on the couch brining my hands to rest next to my chin and went to my mind palace.
I walked the halls looking for something. I didn't quite know what but I found myself distracted in the room labeled John. During my time being tortured by Moriarty's men I found myself in this room often.
John sat in his chair waiting for me as he was usually when I visited him here.
"Why hello Sherlock how have you been?" His question rang out.
I answered truthfully. "Actually John I have never been better."
