I spent too much time talking with John. We discussed everything about the case and about my time away. When I left my mind palace I could hear John making tea. I rose and walked into the kitchen watching him.
"Would you like a cuppa?" Asked John. I nodded in response still pondering how I lost so much time in my own head. John turned to find me staring and I didn't look away again lost in my own head. I finally noticed the red creeping up his neck and the tips of his ear.
Realizing that I was staring and I quickly felt my own cheeks and neck warm up. I widened my eyes before I looked away.
I made my way to my chair and sat down waiting for John to bring the tea over.
"What are you thinking about. When I woke I could tell that you were not asleep. Even though you look exhausted." John whispered. I glanced his way before looking back at the wall.
I strung up a map and a couple pictures of my rats. I was just waiting for my homeless network to bring me the information that I needed.
John had convinced me to take a couple cases while I waited. When we had turned on the Telly that morning everyone knew that I was here.
Mycroft had come to see my progress in the case. This was really bothersome considering I was playing the waiting game. John was out and I had convinced my brother to play rather boring games.
Eventually we played deductions with the hat of a client. I would like to think that I won the game since I saw the isolationism and he didn't.
After forcing Mycroft out of my correction Johns and I flat I made my way to the client.
