Churning waters. The group emerges, gasping for air as they bob up and down, struggling to stay afloat. April splashes to the surface, pulling Julie alongside her.
April (gasping): "Everyone-stay together!"
David swims to them, checking on the others. Elliott pulls Mathew up from under the water, his face pale from fear.
Mathew (coughing): "I... hate... cliffs."
Harvey, a strong swimmer, is already surveying their surroundings.
Harvey (looking back at the cliff): "Well, good news-we got away from the T. rex. Bad news-we're in the middle of nowhere."
David looks up to the top of the cliff where Tyrant stands silently, watching them. The beast lets out a low, ominous growl, but it doesn't follow.
David: "We need to find land or we'll exhaust ourselves. Head for the beach."
They swim toward a distant shoreline, the shadow of the island looming in the background. The relentless waves toss them, making it difficult to stay on course.
The group finally drags themselves onto a beach. The sand is black, and the air feels heavy with tension. Exhausted, they collapse on the shore, coughing up saltwater.
Julie (shivering): "Are we safe now?"
April looks around, noticing the eerie silence.
April: "I don't think we're safe anywhere on this island."
David stands up, scanning the jungle behind the beach, then looking out at the horizon. The sun is beginning to set, casting long shadows across the beach.
David: "We'll have to set up camp here for the night. We can't afford to go back into the jungle right now."
Elliott stands beside him, his face serious.
Elliott: "What about Tyrant? If he followed us this far-"
David (nodding): "We'll have to stay hidden. No fires. No noise."
Uneasy Night (0:10 - 0:15)
As night falls, the group huddles together, building a makeshift shelter out of driftwood and leaves. The sounds of distant dinosaur roars echo through the night, but closer still is the unsettling silence that heralds Tyrant's presence. The group is on edge, nerves frayed.Mathew (whispering): "We're going to die here, aren't we?"
April (whispering back): "Shut up, Mathew. You're not helping."
Harvey, trying to lighten the mood, sits back and smirks.
Harvey: "Maybe Tyrant's just shy. You know, never roars because he's saving it for a special occasion."
Julie shudders, leaning against April.
Julie: "I don't care why it's quiet... It's terrifying."
Suddenly, they hear a faint rustling from the jungle. Everyone tenses.
Elliott (quietly): "Something's coming."
The group freezes, but the rustling gets louder, closer. David motions for them to stay down, gripping a flare gun he found in the wreckage.
Out of the shadows emerges... a much smaller figure. It's a Velociraptor, but not just any raptor-a Velociraptor, sleek and fast. It sniffs the air, razor-sharp claws clicking on the rocks as it prowls around.
April (whispering): "That's a Velociraptor osmolskae. It's a pack hunter."
Harvey (whispering): "How do you know there's more?"
April (deadpan): "Because there are always more."
Suddenly, more raptors emerge from the shadows-three, four, then five. Their eyes gleam in the dim light as they slowly surround the camp.
The group knows they need to act fast. The raptors are silent but methodical, their movements calculated.
David (whispering): "Stay low. Move slowly. They're testing us."
Elliott looks for a way out, eyeing a narrow path through the rocks that leads back into the jungle.
Elliott (whispering to David): "There's a path. We can slip through."
David: "Good eye. Everyone, on my signal-"
Before he can finish, Mathew accidentally shifts, knocking over a pile of wood. The raptors' heads snap toward the noise in unison, their bodies tensing for attack.
Julie (terrified): "Mathew!"
Mathew (frantic): "I didn't mean to!"
With a sudden screech, the lead raptor lunges. David fires the flare gun into the air, momentarily startling the pack as the bright light illuminates the night. The group bolts for the narrow path, the raptors hot on their heels.
Jungle Chase
The group races through the dense jungle, ducking under branches and leaping over rocks. The raptors are fast, closing in quickly. David takes the lead, cutting through the thick foliage with his knife.April (running alongside him): "We can't outrun them forever!"
David (gritting his teeth): "We don't have to. We just need to slow them down."
Elliott spots a fallen tree up ahead and quickly formulates a plan.
Elliott (shouting): "The tree! We can use it to block them!"
The group reaches the tree and begins to push it over as the raptors close in. Just as the lead raptor leaps toward Mathew, the tree collapses with a deafening crash, cutting off the raptors' path. The predators snarl, pacing back and forth behind the fallen tree, but for now, they are safe.
Julie (panting): "That... that was close."
Harvey (grinning despite himself): "Told you they were smart. But not as smart as us."
A New Discovery
The group stumbles into a clearing at the base of a mountain. Towering above them is a structure, half-hidden in the vines-a research facility. Its steel walls are worn with age, and its windows are shattered, but it seems to have power.David: "This wasn't on any of the maps."
April (looking around in awe): "It's an old lab. They must have been experimenting on the dinosaurs here."
The doors to the facility creak open, and they cautiously enter. Inside, the air smells of rust and decay, but the lights flicker, and computers hum faintly in the distance.
Elliott: "Do you think there's anything useful in here?"
David (nodding): "We'll find out. But first, we need to rest. We've bought ourselves some time, but we're not out of danger yet."
As they venture deeper into the lab, the camera pans back to the jungle outside. In the distance, the shadowy figure of Tyrant can be seen moving through the trees, still hunting them. His silence hangs in the air, more menacing than any roar.
