Chapter Four*Bomb Voyage

I pull up to the jail parking the motorcycle the jail is surrounded by a tall fence with barbed wire on top

I don't have time for this I say as I start to climb the fence I reach the top of the barbed wire is and do my best to go around it

it still manages to cut me but nothing serious I jump down and run to the side of the building why do I always have to climb walls

I climb up the side of the building, I grip the ledges of the windows as I ascend the building's side, my heart racing with each pull upward. Finally, I reach the roof and frantically scan the courtyard below, searching for Damian.

There he is, right in the middle, a rope around his neck as the Executioner prepares to pull. I can barely breathe as I sprint to the edge of the roof.

Just as the Executioner yanks the rope, I watch in horror as Damian's body jerks upward, choking in agony. In a split second, I draw my pistol and aim it at the rope my arm steady despite the chaos.

just as the Executioner pulls the Rope his body flying up as he begins to choke

I pull my pistol out of the holster extending my arm forward and pointing it straight at the Rope.

My senses begin to fade as the rope cokes me

Right before everything goes dark I hear a loud piercing sound as I fall to the ground my senses start to come back as I realize that the sound was a bullet

And it cut the rope which caused me to fall, thr crowd starts to panic and everybody's running around

what the- the Executioner says but he's cut off by a bullet hitting him straight in the head

I watch as his body falls to the ground I stand up still on the stage and look around to see who just saved me

when I see a figure on the roof

it's Lynn she's standing there her arm extended forward pistol in hand pointed right where the Executioner was

I see her chest Rise up and down from her breathing rapidly

we lock eyes and I see her expression turn sad

She leaps from the roof, landing gracefully on the balcony before descending into the courtyard below.

she starts running towards me and I shuffled to get up and run towards her as well meeting her halfway in a tight embrace

I-thought I was going to lose you. Oh God, I can't believe you're alive. I say with tears streaming down my face as I bury my face in his chest, feeling the warmth of his heartbeat.

The fear and relief crashed over me like a tidal wave, and all I could do is hold on tight, as if letting go would mean losing him again.

I gently wrap my arms around her holding her close. I'm here and I'm not going anywhere

I whisper my voice steady, I'm okay now you saved me. I stroked her hair.

his heartbeat a soothing rhythm against my ear. I let my muscles relax as he holds me.

I thought I lost you too. I pull her tight so happy we're both together again

Just then the other guards come running tword us guns in hand

Put your weapons down and your hands up! they yell

I put my hand around Lynn's waist pulling her behind me in a protective stance just do as they say love I whisper to her

I'm sorry but I can't do that I say as I step beside him pulling a grenade out of my pocket I pull the pin and throw it at the guards in one swift motion

I watch as she throws the grenade at the guards but I don't have enough time to respond I turn my head just before and I see her sad smile and I can tell She's preparing for it

my body takes the full force of the blast as I'm thrown into the wall the loud piercing sound of the bomb ringing in my ears damn I think I blew my eardrums I tried to get up but I large pain shoots to my arm

I cough as I start to come too if I didn't prepare myself by tensing my muscles and covering my ears that would have knocked me out

I stumbled to my feet and look around for Damien when I see him I run over to him fear fills my eyes as I see his arm bent the opposite direction

Shit shit shit that looks bad I say as I try to help him up

I see Lynn as she frantically waves her arms around and holds on to me trying to pull me up her voice muffled I'm able to stand with her help my ears slowly coming to

I take off my jacket and wrap it around his arm then his shoulder and attempt to make a makeshift sling doing my best not to hurt him while I put it on

you're so creative, I smile

I look at him in his messy state from the blast I feel awful that he's hurting because of me and I can't help but think about how hot he looks

I snap out of it and grab the wrist of his good arm leading him to the side of the building got to jump off earlier do you think you'll be able to climb it?

I look up at the building and squint my eyes I don't think I have a choice huh I chuckle

I suppose you're right I say with a smile as I help him climb up the side of the building it's hard but we managed to do it finally reaching the top

-time skip-

I jump from the barbed wire fence Landing shakily but on my feet, I follow her to a motorcycle

here get on

I raise my eyebrow I'm assuming you didn't buy this I say teasingly

I guess you could say I borrowed it

she says with a silly expression that I can't help but smile at she gets on the motorcycle and I sit behind her wrapping my good arm around her waist as she speeds off

I'll look at your arm whenever we get to the hotel I yell over the loud motor

sounds good I say pulling her tight to me now that we get a moment to relax my body can't help but tremble so happy that we're together again

I just hope that nothing will separate us ever again.
