The Fallen

Im going to try to cut the chapters a bit shorter to make it easier to read in one sitting for you guys if you prefer the longer versus a to the point shorter version just let me know c: *( )=thought

Nate's POV:

I woke up to Castiel standing over me. "Uh, good morning Castiel. Nice to see that you're awake so early." I said trying to break the awkwardness of the strange awakening. "Sorry just you snore in your sleep and it was bothering me last night." he leaned back letting me off the couch. "Well, how are you feeling? I can make us some breakfast before we go to the hospital and check you out." I offered quietly hoping he'd be okay with the idea of getting checked out. "When will be looking for Dean, Sam and the fallen?" he asked with a serious face disregarding what I just said. "The fallen?" "Yes the fallen angles." He is still on the heaven idea, maybe I just further humor him up until the check up or the meet up of these two men. Maybe they will have some sort of answers for me like mental  issues maybe. "Nate?" Castiel looked up from his scrambled eggs and waffles I made for us. "Yeah Castiel?" "I know you may think what I have told you thus far is crazy and totally unrealistic to the regular human but all I say is the truth. I need to find Dean and Sam." *(Human?) "What do you mean human Castiel you use the word as if your are not one yourself." "That is because Im not one Nate." he smirked and took another small bite of eggs. "Huh uh." I said sarcastically and taking a sip of my coffee. "Lets head on to the hospital, yeah?" Castiel nodded his head and stood up still wearing my pajama outfit from last night. "Oh" I chuckled "Would you like to change?" He looked down at himself and walked into the bedroom to change. He was a very peculiar individual. After he came out with a messy hair look and his old tattered clothing we were ready to leave. I quickly looked over his face for any of the scratches' that were there previously and found nothing but clear skin. I gave a confused expression and got into the car. "How are you feeling Castiel?" "Fine, you?" he asked casually as ever. "Well, to be honest, curious, confused and tired." He tilted his head at me, "Im sorry if I made you feel any of these emotions." I smiled politely, "Oh no its not you, its my job it just takes a lot out of me."

(At the hospital)

Nate's POV:

"Hello Jem, Um Is it okay if I get one of my friends a quick over look?" Jem is one of the nurses working up front at the sign in desk. She's a larger lady, black hair, and green eyes. She was very pretty for her size. "Oh, hey Nate! Go on ahead Ill sign you two in." She smiled and opened up an extra room for us to go into. "Will you be dong the check up?" Castiel asked softly. "I mean, if you wanted me to do it rather than someone else I am qualified for it." I smiled and grabbed the tools I needed and began to look Castiel over inch by inch. He had no signs of slow breathing or rapid heart rate. He was perfectly healthy, some bruising here and there but nothing that wouldn't heal within a day or two. "Am I okay?" "Yes! Surprisingly enough you are completely perfect." Castiel smiled and stood up. "Now we can find Dean and Sam. I last saw them in Wyoming." "Wait, Castiel we are in Michigan. That's a long road trip for me to take right now. I have my new job I need to be here for." I sat down in the chair taken back by all the responsibility I have in my life for being still a young woman. Having a career is one of my biggest draw backs yet an amazing opportunity for someone young like me. "I would much rather have you go with me Nate then be alone again." Castiel had the same look on his face he had on the night I found him. Guilty and lonely all in one. He gave me one look with his incredible blue eyes and I knew I couldn't walk away from him and not care. I was drawn to him and I didn't know if that was a good thing or another draw back I can add to the list.
