Ray Mond One Shots

Ever since Ray was young, she felt alone. Her parents abandoned her and her brother. She never understood why she was abandoned. She assumed it was because taking care of twins was a lot of work. Ray and Yuno were put in an orphanage at 3 years old. They remember very little things about their parents. By the age of 5, they were separated from each other. Al and Dia(na) Mond and her adopted brother Sal, named and adopted Ray. While growing up, she always had these fears that she was going to be abandoned again and because of her dad's work situation, she was always switching schools. She learned that by making friends; it was they abandon you or you leave before they can abandon you. Because of this, she fell into many toxic relationships. She knew they wouldn't abandon her as long as she was useful to them. If she ever had a doubt about them leaving her, she would leave first. This was her way of coping with her traumas. Her fear came back in full force at 17 years old, when her parents were arguing and were planning a divorce following the unexpected death of Sal. She again thought her parents were abandoning her and on top of that she is now mourning the passing of her brother. She ran away with her current toxic relationship. The guy in this current toxic relationship beat her multiple times, which resulted in her getting 3 concussions and some brain damage, which made it hard for her to remember her past.

At 25, she learned where her biological twin brother lived and she debated on whether to meet him again. Near the beginning of March, she decided she would make that trip to Los Santos to find her brother. She set a date to leave for Los Santos on March 24th. A few years into living in Los Santos, she saw many of her friends and found family leave. With more people leaving, she left the city more and more often and for longer periods of time. Because of her traumas catching up to her, she eventually left the city.

After the economic collapse, she decided to face her fears and return to the city. When she came back she realized a lot of her friends, family, and ex's were missing. Randy, Gunner, Lana, Max, Eric and many more of the people she cared about were gone. She hasn't even heard from April or Yuno since being back in the city.

Ray was afraid to face Chang Gang again. She knew they were always busy building up their empire to be the strongest and most feared gang. She believed she wouldn't be able to be useful to them at the moment and was afraid they wouldn't accept her back.

Ray eventually made a strong group of friends that proved to have her back. What proved that the most was the day Chatty used her expired ID to harass an old woman at Snr. Buns. Her friends made sure Ray got her ID back.

Who knew a stolen ID could lead to romance. At the first clown meeting Ray went to, Chatty announced Ray as the clown queen while holding her hand.

While a court case for Ember killing a mime was going on, Chatty set up a date and planned to make his relationship with Ray official. He remembered that she wanted to steal Jet-skis and take them in the canals behind her house. Everything went according to plan. His day was going so much better or so he thought...

After keeping Ray safe from crazy locals buying weed from her, they went over to Grove St. so Ray could drop off the money she made for the quota. Just to find out that her key doesn't work anymore. This made her traumas flash back and she started to spiral. She knew she had to leave again but this time she has a house to escape to...the funhouse.
