Y/n pov

You wake up in your bed and get ready for the school day as you walk down into the common room area.

You see Marco. " Hey Marco," you say, walking to him and hugging him. "So I read a book last night, and I kinda regretted it, " you say as you both sit down in a corner on the couch.

" y/n, you know I don't wanna say this, but I told you so, " Marco says, having a smug smirk while crossing his legs and putting his hands on his legs.

You were sitting in the cafeteria eating breakfast when a Gryffindor kid called Aiden O, conner walked up to you.

" ... y/n, I wanted to ask if you want to go to Hogsmeade with me next time we visit, "Aiden asked. He looked nervous even tho he was also a fifth-year.

" Aiden, for as lovely as that sounds, I was planning to go with Marco, so you can come with us if you want, " you say in the kindest voice you can.

" oh well, I thought maybe just us two," Aiden says as he looks very embarrassed, but Aiden quickly scrams away after Marco gives him a death glare.

You continue to eat your breakfast until you look up at Marco." So y/n, if you noticed,d, you kinda have a guard dog over there, " Marco says, pointing slightly at your middle brother Arron l/n.

  He was on the Slytherin Quidditch team in his, seventh year; he was built normally a little taller than an average person and strong enough to lift you.

"if he does anything I'll talk with him, " you say to Marco continuing to eat your breakfast like normal,
" if you say so, " Marco says also eating his breakfast.
______________________________________ You were sitting in Greek class next to Marco while Snape was talking about the different new gods after they imprisoned Kronos.

Then Snape stops talking until he tells us all, "You all have a group project about a god I choose for you."

You could hear groans and sighs from most of the people in the lesson. "Hey Marco, wanna group up? " you ask Marco as he is bored and sketching something on a piece of  Paper.

Marco looks up at you still bored and tired but with a kind smile
" Sure, but you gotta teach me some stuff. I'm kinda not following the lesson," he says, turning his kind smile to an awkward and sorry kinda smile.

" and Mr. De Rossi  you're with Miss Lovegood," Snape says strictly walking to the back of the class
You are a little disappointed that you can't be in the same group as Marco, but you think maybe you be in the same group as someone who maybe will be a new friend.

" Mr Nott, you're with Miss l/n," Snape says, continuing to group up people and walking around the classroom.

'What, why did I have to be in the same group as that guy?' You thought to yourself, your eyebrows furrowed with disappointment.

" Now everyone go with your person, and we will walk to the library," Snape says, walking to the door and waiting for everyone to get grouped up. 

" bye, Marco, see ya, " you say, looking at Marco, Your face is Neutral. "Good luck with your 'enemy,' " Marco says giving the enemy air quotes as he walks off to Luna Lovegood, the Ravenclaw.

You see Nott walking up to you "You didn't come so I came " he says giving you a smug grin you hated
"Hello, I'm y/n, " you say with a kind smile.

" I'm Theodore but a pretty lady like you can call me Theo " Theodore says as you now learn his name
" .. Theodore," you say name-checking how it rolls the tongue.
