The Final Girl

Chapter ten: Are you scared?

"What do we do?" Kazuha voice sounded shaky.

Chaewon was quiet, thinking of what to do from here.

"Chaewon?" Sakura called. "You there?"

"Stay home." Chaewon finally said. "We're safe if we stay home, keep the doors locked and windows, put any weapon that you can find near you." Chaewon said as she put the envelope down and started to make sure that her windows were locked and the back door was locked. She closed the curtains and checked every room to be empty.

"Wouldn't it be better if the three of us are together?" Kazuha pointed it out.

"No, it would be much easier for the killer to kill all of us, especially with you and Kkura who have your family at home?"

"But what about you?" Sakura finally said. "Who can protect you."

Chaewon stopped in the doorway of her bedroom.

No one said anything for a while.

"I can protect myself just fine, I've been doing it since middle school." Chaewon said.

"I'm gonna stay with you Kkura, you're still hurt." Kazuha said. "Unnie, I know you said that if we stick together the killer will get us much faster, but we can also work together and defeat the killer."

"Fine, but Chaewon has to come as well." Sakura argued.

"Girls-" Chaewon sighed.

"No! I am not losing you! I almost lost you not once but twice! I am not gonna let that happened again! You are staying over at my place and that's final." Sakura said.

"Period." Kazuha said.

Both girls were quiet.

"You're so random." Chaewon laughed.

"You couldn't take this seriously for five minutes, could you?" Chaewon heard Sakura say, she can already imagine the glare she much giving her.

Kazuha was about to apologize when Chaewon interrupted. "Fine, I'll stay over at your place." Chaewon finally agreed.

"Good, I'll be waiting for both of you here at my place." Sakura happily said.

The girls bid their goodbye and hung up.

Chaewon decided to stay the weekend at Sakura and stay back home on Monday, she knows Sakura would be against it but she has a feeling that the killer is coming after her.

Chaewon grin. "Let's see who catches who first."

The next two days, Chaewon spends her time over at Sakura, so far nothing has happened but the girls are still being cautious.

It's Monday now and the school day ended, the girls made their way to Sakura's car as she happily chatted about tomorrow, they couldn't wait for the next day as it's Halloween!

"Are your costumes ready?" Sakura asked.

Kazuha nodded. "Yup! All set! What about you unnie?" Kazuha turned to look at Chaewon.

"Yeah, I just have to go home and get some things and then I'll come over to your place." Chaewon said.

Sakura nodded as the girls got in the car and drove off to Chaewon's house.

"Make sure to bring everything you need, even if we might not go out tomorrow late at night like we plan too, we can still watch a horror movie once we come back to my house. Also, if it gets to dark call me and Zuha can come pick you up." Sakura said.
