It took around 30 minutes of waiting for the food to arrive. Marco greets the man again at the door, before allowing him to place the tray of dishes on the hotel's kitchen counter.
Andez was still sunk into the sofa. He was not impressed by the stunt Marco had pulled, and quite frankly, confused he would even suggest so in the first place. By no chance would he have ever thought the same if it was up to him. However, he sits this aside as he waits for the Employee to leave.
"Marco," Andez asks, with his mouth full of lasagna. "What time are we getting up in the morning exactly. Because it's literally 5AM and we're eating a second dinner."
Marco thinks a second, while twirling his fork in his Alfredo.
"Errrr.. I dunno. I'll decide whenever I get up. Or we can just sleep all day who gives a crap. The casino is only open at like 10pm - 3 AM."
"I s'pose so."
Andez infact, quite enjoyed the Lasagna. It was perfectly creamy, and the tomato sauce had a nice kick of flavour to it. He especially liked how the cheese ontop was slightly crunchy.
There is a thick silence as the two eat their pasta.
This, however, is broken by Marco turning to look at Andez.
"Yo, Andy?"
"Andez..."
He was honestly quite bored of reminding him at this point.
"Well, yknow when you told me to only take.. 500?"
"..."
"Well, I took another 500 too." He adds, placing the $999 on the table.
"You have got to be kidding me. If that family ever sees us again we're dead!" Andez nearly choked on his lasagna at the money.
Marco shrugs.
"Well, yeah, but now we have more money for like, more profit."
"You're so gonna waste it all."
"Nah, we'll split it, 50-50! Er, well, 500-499." Marco replies enthusiastically, pushing $499 of the $999 to Andez, who was across the table.
Andez sighs.
"Okay, fine." He says, before taking another forkful of the lasagna.
"Hey, cheer up, Mate. We finally made it here, in vegas! In this hotel for the weekend!"
Quite bored, Andez shrugs.
"I guess so. But geez, my eyes hurt."
He says, rubbing his eyes. He was 3/4 finished with his lasagna at that moment in time.
"Well, we'll get some sleep or whatever when you're finished bro. But I am totally excited for tommorow, mi amigo!"
"I wouldn't consider us this close yet, since you are still technically the guy who broke into my house, stole my painting, and more importantly, broke my toilet while also simultaneously drinking my aunt."
Marco snickers.
"You're such a downer."
"Whatever."
