Chapter 7: the symble of the past

Flashback chapter...(by now I just like writing about lil' Aaravos)
No one's POV:

"What if we get caught?" A young, yellowish-orangish, Star-touched elf asked nervously, looking around.

"Oh Apollo, you need to learn to loosen up a bit and enjoy life." A blue, Star-touched elf replied, gently punching his shoulder.

"You should listen to your sister more, Apollo, just don't worry about it, And if we get caught I'll take all the blame don't worry." Aaravos said, trying to reinsure his friend.

"We're not supposed to leave the palace, especially at night! And it's for our own safety. What if we get hurt? Or worse!?" Apollo started panicking.

"Shut up bro!" Artemis said, coving his mouth with her hand.

"You won't get hurt. I'll protect you both...I promise." Aaravos smiled softly.

"What ever you say." Apollo mumbled hesitantly.

"That's better. I don't like it when you loud and panicky." His twin sister said.

After "sneakingly" avoiding the guards the three made it outside the palace. "Sneaking off again Aara?" Kova asked, waiting in the corner. "How'd you know?" He replied with a small chuckle. "Because your my best friend, I know you." She smiled at him.

"You wanna come with us? It's the twins first time out at night. At least without an adult." Aaravos asked, curious of her answer.

"Nah that's fine. I'll stay here, and if the guards ask where you are, and that's even if they ever find out, I'll try throw them off your trail." She responded, slightly shaking her head as she did so.

"That's a shame, we're heading to the Silver-grove."

"Oh really?" Kova asked rhetorically, letting out a small giggle.

"Wait the silver-grove? Isn't that we're the Moonshadow elves live? I heard they have assassins!" Apollo froze thinking about his life choices and how he even ended up in this situation.

"Oh well, see you." Aaravos said, waving bye towards Kova, as he started walking away.

"Alight Sunshine, let's go." Artemis said, grabbing her brother's wrist and dragging towards Aaravos.

"I wanna go home." Apollo muttered out.

"We haven't even left the sight of the palace."

"Yea I know, I wanna go back inside!"

"Oh stop being such a scary cat!"

"I'm not!"

"Ugh yes you are! But trust me, once you see the beautiful night world, your fears will wash away! You'll wish you would have done this sooner. Trust me."

"That's the thing, I don't!"

"Wha-WHY!?"

"Because your my sister! Is that not a good enough reason!?"

"No it isn't! Explain your reasoning!"

"Because siblings always lie and prank each other, and say one thing is something, when really it's the opposite!"

That's actually a really good reason...BUT STILL, I've never done anything like that to you!"

"Not yet!"

The twins kept arguing back and forth.

"Are you two trying to get us caught?" Aaravos asked, stopping and looking back at the twins.

The two shook their heads no.

"Okay, then maybe could you argue a bit quiter?"

"Fine." The two grumbled.
