Chapter 27 - Gabriel pt. 2

I sat up against the bed taking in Gabriel's sleeping appearance, his black hair fell in his face and his arm was stretched above his head.  He looked so peaceful when he slept, I wasn't so afraid of him when he was like this

"How did you sneak in here" I mumbled to myself

I ran my finger across the edge of his jaw tracing it lightly and tapped his chin, he groaned turning away from me

I couldn't deny how handsome he was, even when he was sleeping he looked like a whole meal

I got out of bed and hopped in the shower rinsing and exfoliating real well.  After I was done I walked back into my room greeted with a sleeping Gabriel and threw some clothes on

He looked so exhausted yet so peaceful so I left him alone to sleep and closed the door.  Walking downstairs I headed to the kitchen to start on breakfast

"I guess I'll wake him up when it's done", pulling everything out of the fridge I set It on the counter

"Hey siri play love by Rihanna"

I prepped the pan and cooked 2 pieces of bacon at a time setting them on the plate

Dancing around the kitchen I grabbed the remaining bacon out of the pan and slid it onto a plate. Next I  grabbed a couple slices of bread and soaked them in milk and cinnamon before throwing them in the pan

"Say I'm the one you want so come express it, don't slip, don't slip cause a nigga might-" my singing was  cut short by Gabriel's hands hugging my waist

I yelped "y-you surprised me"

"What are you making mama" he rested his chin on my shoulder and swayed my hips back and forth to the music

I tapped his nose with the spatula and flipped the French toast over, "Breakfast for you silly"

He eyed the food before pulling me into his arms and kissing along my neck "Mhmm...I'll give you love and affection any day"

The way the words fell off his tongue made my heart do a 360 flip "thats new" I accidentally blurred out

"What's new" he questioned

"Oh u-...I- it was nothing"

His green orbs stared at me "tell me"

"Well...I don't know why but what you said just now made my heart speed up"

He looked at the ceiling like he was thinking for a moment and then glanced at me "baby that's called love"

"Love?" I questioned

"yeah you know-...actually how old are you?"

"I just turnt 20"

He chuckled "well that explains a lot

"What does it explain?"

"Well you're fairly young, so your experiencing love and probably have been for a while now, you know your about at that age"

"b- b...but how would I know when I'm experiencing love?", I hesitated to meet his eyes

He placed a kiss on my forehead and leaned against the bar counter taking in my appearance

"Your heart quickens, you get nervous around that person, you find yourself thinking about them a lot and even crying over them to...you'll know when your in love"

I leaned back against the stove "ohh so that means I'm in love with Albrecht....thats what he was trying to get me to realize until he broke my heart

"Wait what!",Gabriel's expression hardened, "is that why you were crying last night"
