Trip II

Fourth's cheeks were already a bit pink as he stood in the doorway of the shared room he was assigned with Gemini. He knew the setup wasn't ideal for his current state of mind, but there was no way around it. Dunk, being the sponsor of the trip, had gotten a single room to himself, leaving the rest of the teachers to pair up.

Gemini shot him a knowing grin as they both settled their bags down. "Looks like it's just you and me, Fourth," he said, his tone playful. "This should be interesting."

"Yeah," Fourth mumbled, trying to keep his voice steady despite the sudden rush of nerves that hit him. "Interesting."
After a bit of awkward small talk, Fourth grabbed his toiletries and headed to the bathroom for a shower, needing a moment to collect himself. As he stepped under the warm water, he realized, with horror, that he'd forgotten his towel in the room. He took a deep breath, debating what to do, but there really was no choice.

With his face already burning, he called out,
"Uh, Gemini? Can you bring me my towel, please?"

There was a moment of silence, and then he heard Gemini's chuckle from outside the bathroom door. "What's that? You need your towel?" Gemini teased, his voice dripping with amusement. "I could just leave it here, you know, or make you come out and get it."

"Gemini!" Fourth hissed, his embarrassment rising. "Please, just-just hand it over."
"Alright, alright, I'm just teasing," Gemini said with a laugh as he cracked the door open enough to slip the towel in. "Here you go, Fourth."
Fourth snatched it quickly, his face flaming even hotter now as he wrapped the towel around himself. "Thank you," he muttered, flustered.

When he finally emerged from the bathroom, Gemini also hopped in the shower . Fourth heard the door of the bathroom click after a while and raises his head only to see Gemini standing there bare-chested, with only a towel wrapped low around his waist. Water droplets glistened on his skin, and his hair was tousled, still damp from the shower. The sight was... well, more than Fourth had been prepared for.

Fourth's eyes widened, and despite his best efforts, he couldn't help but stare. He could feel his face going crimson as his gaze trailed over Gemini's toned chest and the way the towel clung to his hips. He swallowed hard, practically drooling.

Gemini's lips curled into a teasing smirk. "Like what you see?" he asked, his voice low and amused.
Fourth's mouth opened and closed, no sound coming out, his embarrassment reaching a new peak. "I-uh-no, I mean, yes-I mean!" he stammered, flustered beyond words.

Before he could think of a way to backtrack, Gemini stepped closer, his eyes locked on Fourth's, that playful grin softening into something more genuine. "You don't have to answer that," he said, his voice almost a whisper. Then, without another word, he leaned in, capturing Fourth's lips in a gentle kiss.

Fourth's mind went blank, all his protests and thoughts disappearing in an instant. He responded to the kiss instinctively, his hands gripping Gemini's arms as he felt the warmth of his skin. The kiss deepened, growing more intense as the seconds passed. They pulled each other closer, their bodies pressing together as if nothing else existed outside of that moment.

When they finally broke apart, both of them were breathing hard, their foreheads resting against each other. Fourth's eyes were wide, his lips tingling from the kiss. He felt a rush of emotions he couldn't quite name, and all he could think was that he didn't want this to end.
Gemini gave him a small, soft smile, brushing a stray hair from Fourth's face. "You're so cute when you're flustered," he said, his voice warm with affection.
Fourth tried to glare at him but ended up smiling instead. "Shut up," he muttered, his voice lacking any real bite.

They climbed into bed together, still tangled up in each other's arms, and to Fourth's surprise, they ended up cuddling. It felt surprisingly natural, Gemini's warmth seeping into his skin, calming his racing thoughts. Fourth had never imagined that he'd find himself in this situation, but lying there in Gemini's arms, he couldn't bring himself to pull away.

Within minutes, he found himself drifting off, lulled by the steady beat of Gemini's heart beneath his cheek. For the first time in a long while, Fourth let himself relax completely, falling asleep in the arms of someone who made his heart race in the best possible way.
