As I waited at home for her to text I started to think about Merri. 'Shit I was supposed to Skype her today, oh well, I'll just txt her and tell her I can't.

Then it happened. My phone went off on my dresser and I jumped up and raced towards it. IT WAS HER. I smiled like a child getting a bag full of candy. I was in such a daze I didn't even read it, I was just happy it was from her.

Cherry: Hey this is cherry
Tony: Hey, what's up?
Cherry:Not much. Hey I have to go sorry.
Tony: Oh alright see you tomorrow then

And with that Cherry never texted back that night. As Tony lay in his bed he felt his heart racing rapidly. He sat up on the edge and reread their conversation. Although they she had only txted a few sentences he felt as though it had been a whole paragraph.

Then he got a text. It was from Merri. He sighed as he picks  up his phone and started texting her. Even though he was in love with Cherry, he didn't know how she felt. So until then, he was gonna stay with Merri, even if he didn't love her...

That Night as he fell asleep all he could think about was how Cherry had just suddenly walked into his life and now had a great on influence on his heart and they didn't know each other.

The next day when he got up he checked his phone. Sure enough Cherry had texted him.

Cherry: see you at school

With such a short text his day had been made. As he got dressed and combed his hair he threw on some cologne.

Once he had gotten school he looked for her. Soon he found her in the same spot she had been the other days with her friends. He walked over to her and sat beside her smiling as she looked at the floor. "Hey, what's wrong?" Tony asked concerned.

Cherry looked up at him and gave him a fake smile that he didn't seem to notice. " Nothing" she said softly as she watched him. He nodded and stood up walking away to his friends.
