About a month later as Tony was sitting on the bench by the banyan tree at school, he saw her. His heart lit up as he knew it was time. It was the day before Valentine's and he wished to make it special for her. As she walked to him she smiled happily as I felt my heart beat fast. "Hey " she said as I smiled and lost my words nodding.

I heard her sigh softly and I felt as though something small had poked at my heart. I watched her as she spoke to lenna, one of her best friends. I stared for a while till some one called my name. I shook my head and looked who called. It was Lenna. I looked at her curious as she asked again. "Tony do you like Cherry or something?"

I felt myself starting to blush as my body took control of my brain. Before I knew it I was across the street walking to the computer lab. I took one look behind me and saw her, with a sad expression and a lonely heart I kept my distance and left. As the day went by I realized I had no classes with her. With that remark my heart longed to see her, but I knew she was upset and wouldn't try to see me.

Cherry's point of view

As I thought about what Lenna had said and the event that happened I felt so broken and confused. 'Why did he leave?' I thought  myself. As I kept asking this question the bell had rung and I had headed off to my next class. Sitting in my classes ere terrible, my mind couldn't focus for shit. I was so impatient and worried my mind kept wondering else where. To one topic in asking one question, 'Does he feel the way I do?'

I shook my head thinking i was crazy as I felt my heart break a bit knowing I wasn't enough for him to be happy with. "He wouldn't want you" I kept telling myself. "He doesn't think your special."

As I finished school I saw him. He stared at me then left like that. I felt so depressed. Walking on the bus as I sat next to Gabe I thought of possible reasons on why he would be avoiding me. Once the bus dropped me off and I went to my house I grabbed my phone and texted him.

Cherry: Tony?

Tony: yea?

Cherry: Is it true....do you like me...

Tony: .....

Cherry: please answer it

Tony: Yes I do...do you like me?

Cherry: I don't like you Tony....I'm in love with you....I've been in love with you since the day I laid eyes on you

Tony: Go out with me please

Cherry: Of course

As we kept texting it started to get late and I soon told him good night and I'll see him tomorrow.
