"But what if-"

"No"

"You could just-"

"No!"

"She's-"

"Do I need to spell it out for you? N...O... No!" I snapped. Josie and Lizzie were trying to convince me to talk to my mom but she was THE LAST person I wanted to see.

"We know you're angry-" Lizzie started.

"Furious!" I corrected.

"Right, but mom feels really bad." Josie said.

" As she should!" I exclaimed and the lights flickered. I made sure to hold my necklace to try not to make things worse."I can't believe you guys are trying to get me to see her much less talk to her. She. Lied. To. Me." I annunciated every word.

"We get it, and you have every right to be angry, but you can't stay mad at mom forever." Lizzie said.

"Yes I can."

"You never do." Josie pointed out.

"Because usually our arguments are about wanting to go to a party, how much we spent shopping, or me being upset about getting grounded, not her having lied to me my whole life." I retorted.

"Did she really lie though? I mean what exactly did she tell you?" Lizzie said.

"I can't believe you're siding with her!" Yelled as the furniture in my room shook.

"I'm not but we don't exactly know what happened." Lizzie defended herself.

"What happened was she lied to me my whole life! She literally didn't tell me a thing about Klaus or the Mikaelsons. All she told me was that dad wasn't my real dad and that I carry the wolf gene. She let me think they abandoned me and even when I got older didn't say a word!" I yelled. I took a deep breath."Literally never once told the truth. The only reason I know is because of my wolf hearing, not because she finally decided to tell me the truth." I said. "I'm not talking to her."

** 3rd person POV

"I'm not talking to her." Caroline overheard Violet say to the twins. She sighed in frustration.

"She'll come around." She heard Stefan say and she turned around to see him standing in the middle of the hallway.

"How do you know?" Caroline asked.

"Because you're her mom and she loves you." He said.

"Her mom who's lied to her, her whole life. She's right I should've told her." Caroline said as she rubbed her hand over her face.

"Out of curiosity... why didn't you?" He asked.

"Honestly.. I'm not sure. I mean i didn't want to think about it you know? Her being a Mikaelson put her life in danger, I felt like saying it out loud would attract all of their enemies . What if someone overheard or what if she said the wrong thing or if she just decided she wanted to leave and live her life with the Mikaelsons.. I thought about it so many times but I could never bring myself to say it out loud." Caroline said.

"Then tell her that. Tell her about your concerns and maybe she'll understand." Stefan encouraged.

"You heard her, she doesn't want to see me. Nobody here does, I have become very familiar with the trademark Mikaelson glare in my time here." Caroline said as Stefan involuntarily let out a little chuckle but stopped with one look from Caroline.

"Look, you can't exactly expect them to be happy with you." Stefan reasoned.

"I didn't expect happy but this is hostile. Klaus didn't even call me when she had her outburst, he called you." Caroline said.

"He's angry."

"I know, I know. It just seems like the whole world hates me. My baby hates me." Caroline said.

"The whole world doesn't hate you, Violet doesn't hate you either." Stefan reassured.

"Yes she does, don't you hear her?" Caroline asked rhetorically.

"She thinks she hates you, but she's just angry. She'll get over it." Stefan said.

"You think so?" Caroline asked with hopeful eyes.

" I know so."

** Back to Violet's POV

"Violet, can we talk?" I heard my mom's voice made me angry.

"No! Go away!" I yelled.

"I just want to talk-" "and I just want you to leave me alone for the rest of our lives!" I cut her off.

I heard her sigh and walk off. She made me so angry god I just wanted to scream. I heard another knock.

"I said go away!" I yelled.

"It's me." I heard my dad who raised me. I use my magic to unlock the door as he walked in.

"Hey." He said.

"Hi" I responded. "Here to try to make me talk to mom?" I asked.

"I'm not here to 'make' you do anything, but I think you should." He said.

"Why? So she has another opportunity to lie to me some more?"

"No, so you have an opportunity to tell her off." He said and I looked up at him surprised.

"What?" I asked.

"Listen, your mom has her reasons but so do you, and it's not good for you to keep it all bottled up. It'll just lead to another outburst. I think it'll make you feel better if you at least talk to her." He said and I sighed.

"I don't know dad..."

"Just think about it." He said. "I'm not going to make you but I do want you to really think this through." He said before he walked out of my room leaving me alone with my thoughts.

** 3rd person POV

"So I talked to her." Stefan said as he walked into him and Caroline's shared room.

"What did she say?" Caroline asked.

"Not much, but I think she's considering it." He said and Caroline sighed in relief.

"Good. Thank you so much." She said.

"Don't thank me yet, but I do think if you really want to fix things you have to be honest."

"I know." She said.

"Which is why I think we should tell her." Stefan said.

"What? Now?" She asked incredulously.

"Yes now." He said.

"I think we should wait until this blows over." Caroline told him.

"That is exactly what got us in this situation in the first place." Stefan told her firmly.

"No what got us in this situation is that I lied to her." Caroline said.

"That and that you waited to tell her, then she found out on her own." He said.

"She's not going to find this out."

"She might, she's a smart kid."

"I know that but as long as we don't tell her I don't think she'll figure it out."

"Caroline, I really think we should tell her or else it'll just get worse." Stefan insisted. Caroline sighed.

"Do you really think this is the time?" She asked.

"I don't think there will ever be a good time, might as well be now." He said.
