**1 Year Later**
Zack pulled Alex into the room by the hand- as they giggled the nerves and anxiety away.
The door to their hotel room clicked shut behind them, muffling the sounds of the world outside—
Zack's ears were ringing with the abundance of sound.Alex was overstimulated from the laughter, music, and joyful chaos of their wedding day.
Zack leaned heavily against the door, his eyes sparkling as he looked over at Alex.
Zack took in his husband's appearance and he gave him a goofy smile.
Alex's tux was askew, the bowtie undone and hanging loose, hair tousled from hours of dancing. He looked every bit the picture of a man who'd just celebrated the happiest day of his life.
Zack was equally disheveled.
Alex turned to Zack with a grin that lit up his whole face.
"We did it," Alex breathed, a note of disbelief in his voice. "We're actually married."
"Yeah, we are," Zack whispered back, stepping forward and wrapping his arms around Alex's waist. He leaned in, brushing their noses together lightly.
"And I still can't believe I get to call you my husband." Zack mused.
Alex's expression softened. He rested his forehead against Zack's, their breath mingling in the quiet.
"Your husband," Alex repeated, voice filled with wonder. "God, I love the sound of that."
"Me too." Zack said softly.
Zack's smile widened, then turned into a mischievous grin. He tugged at Alex's jacket, slowly peeling it off his shoulders.
"But right now... I think we need to get out of these tuxes before I collapse." Zack admitted.
"Agreed." Alex said warmly.
Alex laughed, stepping back and shrugging off his jacket. He let it fall to the floor without a second glance and started on his shirt buttons, his gaze never leaving Zack's.
"Best idea you've had all night." Alex retorted.
"No. Best idea I had all night was saying I do." Zack said fondly.
Alex rolled his eyes playfully.
"That was cheesy. But- me too." Alex said with a goofy smile.
They moved in sync, shedding their clothes in a trail from the door to the bed—jackets, shirts, pants, bowties, until they were down to their boxers. Zack couldn't help but grin at the sight of Alex kicking his dress shoes off with a huff of relief, his bare toes curling into the plush carpet.
"Ah, that's better," Alex sighed, dropping onto the edge of the bed. "I'm pretty sure my feet are going to stage a revolt after all that dancing."
Zack snorted, crawling up onto the bed beside him.
"We should've hired a masseuse to follow us around. But hey, I have a solution for our exhaustion." Zack said confidently.
Zack grabbed the room service menu off the bedside table, waving it dramatically. "Pizza."
Alex's eyes widened, then he laughed.
"You want to order pizza on our wedding night?" Alex asked a bit in disbelief.
"Yes!" Zack said seriously, though his grin gave him away.
"I'm starving. We barely had a chance to eat with all the talking and toasting and..." He trailed off, leaning forward with a playful leer. "Not to mention all the kissing."
