Zach was driving him and Alex to school as Alex stayed overnight at his house, Alex had a big day as the winter band concert was occurring today.
Zack was holding Alex's hand on the center console of his Jeep as he drove.
"You excited?" Zack asked with a smile.
Alex smiled softly. "I am always nervous on concert days, and I know that you probably like me a little little bit better today because all my stress will be gone. I'll be less of a jerk."
Zack chuckled. "Baby you haven't been a jerk. I am a big boy I can handle you being a bit crabby because you are stressed."
Alex smiled. "I know and I love you and how supportive you have been. You have been my calm in this storm."
Zack winked. "I love you too, besides, your stressing and crabbiness always seemed to be cured by a good night on your back."
Alex blushed and squeezed Zack's hand that was intertwined with his a little tighter.
"I mean... I am not always on my back." Alex said teasingly.
Zack groaned. "We need to stop talking about this, otherwise I am going to turn around and we are going back to bed."
Alex laughed as they pulled into the school lot and finding the faculty parking lot. Zack parked his jeep next to Allison's little Jetta. She waved at them as they parked.
Zack got out first and walked over to the passenger side door to open it for Alex. Alex never opens his own door anymore.
"Will you two stop being so cute?" Allison said as she grabbed her backpack from her backseat.
"Allison we need to find you a guy like Zack." Alex said sweetly, trying to support his dear friend.
"Remember when we all saw Zack that first day during yearly wrap up and all the ladies thought they had a chance?"
Alex nodded with a little smile.
"Yes. Vicki said he had a nice butt, and Rachel said he was gorgeous and you told me to stop drooling." Alex recalled fondly.
Zack walked over with his backpack slung over his shoulder, and he handed Alex his briefcase.
"Sorry. You ladies never had a chance. I saw Alex and I was instantly done for. Although I have never heard this drooling tidbit" Zack said teasingly as he took Alex's hand in his.
They walked toward the faculty entrance and as they entered the main hall, Zack and Alex went to the left as they would go to Alex's room before Zack left for his. Allison hugged them both goodbye and went to the right to go to her classroom in the English Department.
They walked hand in hand to the music department, as they started seeing students scattering the halls, Alex and Zack dropped their hands as they walked past, not that they had anything to hide, but the students like to tease and spread rumors and Zack and Alex just get annoyed fielding questions all day from them holding hands.
As they entered Alex's large classroom that could accommodate the band set up Alex set up his whiteboard for the day. Zack went around the room and straightened up the chairs, and tuned the guitars and a couple other things.
Zack looked up and saw Alex wrote the date in a light blue.
"Oral?" Zack asked- as it matched the same one Alex used for oral.
"I don't have a Robins Egg Blue marker." Alex said with a blush.
Zack smirked. "Oh I see. Well I am surprised we haven't done that one yet. But I am excited to tonight."
