her gazes travel to Ajay whose expressions reflect to her how outrageous he is. Being a misogynist, Ajay hurls the blame at Kiara while Aditi feels offended, believing over the fact that a girl is never at fault. Instead of comforting his sister, he just tossed the salt on her wounds. "If Kiara had not gone out so late at night, this would never have happened to her. But no, she has to go out at midnight and also has to do her job. Suffer then!!!" Unable to hold herself back, Aditi's hold tightens on the railings which are enveloped with roses and white lights. "Don't you think, Ajay, that you should be with your sister right now? In Delhi."
"I don't have enough money to go to Delhi. Abhay is there, he will bring Kiara back to Mumbai himself." Aditi clenches her fist, shooting glares at Ajay who storms inside to his room.
Sitting in the room, Abhay could not forget the room's condition, that blood stain on Tia's coat, still terrified his mind, which never witnessed such brutality. His eyes, which just raised from the floor to Kiara, notice her finger moving slightly. A soft smile curves on his lips realising that she is waking up but there is still a storm to arrive.
" Water " she murmurs, struggling to breathe.
In an immediate stir, abhay pours the water into the glass and gets up to give her but the moment she opens her eyes, a blurry image surfaces which gradually clears up. Panic rushes through her veins. As if she is still in that room. As if, still he is around. The beats the heart thudded turned rapid. The flashes of that night shroud her seizing her back. Those devilish eyes that stared at her, that filthy touch which lingered around her. She thrashes the glass to the floor, and her shaking body crawls back leaning against the bed headrest.
" Kiara, what happened? it's me, Abhay" abhay tries to hold her arm to control the panic which races her heart, but a fearsome Kiara shoves him away.
" Noooo!!! leave me alone !!!! leave me alone!!!" She cries.
"Kiara, take a hold of yourself. If you break down then who will fight? If you fall weak, they will evolve stronger. If your heart desires justice, then you have to leave behind your fear. if you want to see him behind the bars then take yourself out from that night's bars."
The articulated statement does deliver some extent of courage to her, calming her down slightly. In that moment of vulnerability, Kiara gets up to stand but her injured feet lead her to stumble, her hands quickly grab Abhay's hand extended in support. She yanks her hand away instantly feeling filthy, her gaze remaining on the floor.
"Kiara, it will take time for you to recover. There was.... there was glass in your...in your feet." (Kiara remains expressionless as if she has turned numb). "Kiara, I know this is very difficult for you, but until you tell me what happened, how it happened, how will I help you? If you don't want to tell me, then at least tell Nikita or your mom. But please say something. Break your silence." he pleads.
"I am not afraid of anyone, not even him" Those dull words which carried courage found their way through her bruised and injured lips. Swallowing hard, abhay asks her,
" Who was he?"
She lifts those wet eyelashes, her eyes stinging as new tears form.
" Aryan Rathod" she utters, sobbing feeling disgusting, her fingers ripping out the drip, making way for the blood to gush out rapidly. Quickly bringing out the handkerchief, Abhay attempts to hold her hand, but her knees drop to the floor, and she breaks down. following her, he bends to her level and grabs her hand though she tries to push it away but his rigid grip around it halts the blood.
" Kiara, please. You are bleeding"
He ties it firmly around her hand while pulling away his hand.
leaning her back against the bed, she shuts her eyes, letting those tears rush freely like a river. The storm inside her refused to calm down, which carried a surge of rage and sorrow.
"Kiara, calm down. You are not alone. I am with you. Your family is with you."
Lifting her eyelashes to him, she cries her heart out.
"No, no one was with me then. I was alone. No one came. There was no one for me."
