Sitting at the corner of the bed, Nikita's thoughts drifted to Kiara. She must be feeling alone over there but the only fact that comforted her was Abhay's presence with Kiara.
Shutting the door to their room, Aditi turns sharply and finds Ajay delved into his files.
"Why did you lie outside?" she demands, crossing her arms, her eyes shooting accusations at him.
"Because I don't have money for Kiara,"
"But I have," Aditi is about to go out, but Ajay grabs her arms and veers her to him.
"You're trying to belittle me," he spat.
"Ajay, leave me!! It's hurting," Aditi's hand pushes to shove his hold, but it's too intense.
"If you interfere in this matter, it won't be good for you, Aditi." he leaves her with a jerk, storming out of the room. While a shocked aditi, rubs her arms, giving that spot a glance which has formed a mark.
"How can a person who thinks so lowly about his sister respect his wife? Have I made a mistake by marrying you?" her moist eyes dart around to prevent those tears from developing.
Staying at that spot for a long time, Kiara lifts her eyes to abhay who has been waiting for her to break her silence, sitting crossed legs opposite her.
"I need to go to the police station," her eyes dried up, but they were even more determined than before.
"But your condition?"
"If you don't take me, then I..."
"I'll take you, Kiara." He furrows.
The tires leave behind a sound, as the car halts at the parking lot. Abhay opens the door but his eyes don't fail to sense the hesitation which resides in Kiara. Her hands clenched the seat belt.
" Kiara"
Breaking those thoughts, Kiara glances at Abhay. Coming out of the car, they walk into the police station. The fact that she will never be able to trust anyone, that every touch will make her fearful, makes him feel pity for her.
As soon as the mention of Aryan's name comes, the SHO sends them to the DCP, which tosses a suspicion in Kiara but shaking it off she goes with Abhay.
" Yes, how may I help you," DCP Rishabh asks who appeared to be cordial.
" Sir I have to register my complaint "
" Go ahead" he says, offering them to take a seat but Kiara refuses politely.
" last night at the hotel Grandiano..." while providing him with the heart-wrenching truth, her eyes well up but she brushes those tears away.
He records the statement, files a complaint against Aryan and ensures to take action against him.
