"This doesn't mean anything. You're fighting a battle not because of your own reasons sakhi. You're fighting it for the others -"
" Who will turn out the same! " I said exasperated.
" How do you know? You've changed a lot coming here. You've changed the way your husband would behave in so many scenarios."
" And that's one man! Not the whole society-"
" The whole society is made of many such men. You cannot control the other people sakhi. It's a change. It's not automatic. " He finally sighed and sat down next to me.
" What now? " I groused, exhausted. My head was spinning and I couldn't take the pain anymore.
Yudhishthir was holding our son, still frozen. Tears froze in his eyelashes, his eyes downcast as if blaming himself for it.
" Sakhi, listen to me. You know I recited the entire Geeta to Arjun. I can do the same for you as well. But you are denying the truth despite knowing it. That's selfishness. You cannot change the truth to fit your idea of a good world. You must realise. This cycle of death and life is endless. You or Arjun or anyone cannot change it. If you refuse someone else will have to stand up for this. If you back down, I'll bring someone else. But destruction is inevitable. I am aware that you are scared for your children sakhi, but you are a mother. A mother's love is stronger than anything. But you must trust yourself for it. You have the power to change your fate. You know that. " He reassured me softly, pressing a hand to my head.
It was in these moments I realised that no matter how much we joke around with him, or get amused by his antics he's god. He knows something we don't.. And that's something I am sure he will never tell me. Some say, how far would you trust your god. I'd say one can only trust god if they trust themselves. Sighing, I put my head in my hands.
" Alright. I'll fight. I will fight because you leave me with no choice. But I swear to you Krishn, " I warned, " Arjun and Sphulingini might be keen to have their son fight... I am not. My son will never enter the field again. If he does, I will make sure the entire field goes up in flames and I will not wait for your dharm, or anyone's vow or promise. I will spread anhilation and you won't stop me. " I stood back up, watching my little baby. It was hard to imagine he was 12.
"I know." Was all he said, before snapping his fingers and the roaring of the battlefield broke the serenity.
" Sagarika? " Yudhishthir suddenly said, watching as I stood by.
" Abhi is alright, we need to get him back, then we begin fighting again. " I promised and his eyes glassed over, before he realised where he was and he nodded curtly.

If war has taught me anything, it's that death, loss, pain, happiness, joy, love, care all of these go hand in hand.
Especially considering the fact that the moment we rushed in, Arjun was vengeful, but his daughter in law looked overjoyed.
" What -"
" Arya! " She exclaimed, though her joy shifted to panic and worry as she saw her husband stagger in, supported by her kakashrees. Nakul and Sahdev held him by the shoulder while Yudhishthir held Abhi up.
" I'm- I'm fine. " He smiled for her, wincing as she rushed over to him, touching his cuts.
It was unusual.. Watching them be married... Fifteen year olds being married is very unusual. I look at Madhu being the same age and married is the last thing on my mind. But who am I to say anything about that.
