Somewhere in Hollow Earth.
Kong was Chilling in the temple in Hollow Earth. The hole from Godzilla blowing his atomic breath through the Earth is still present. Monarch have done their best to cover the hole in Hollow Earth and Hong Kong. Speaking of Monarch, there were some Monarch scientists and personnel down in Hollow Earth researching. Kong sat on the thrown watching, his axe lying next to him. Along with the Monarch scientists, Dr. Ilene Andrews and Jia were also present. Nathan Lind as well.
Dr. Lind: I forgot how big this place was.
Dr. Andrews: Yeah, it has been a while since you've been down here.
Dr. Lind: Yeah, I guess. Did you come back down here? After what happened?
Dr. Andrews: It's kind of my job to do so.
Dr. Lind: You got a point there. Any news on Godzilla 2.0?
Dr. Andrew: Godzilla 2.0? Do you mean Dagon?
Dr. Lind: Yeah, whatever his name is.
Dr. Andrews rolled her eyes.
Dr. Andrews: No, we haven't heard anything new. Besides that, quick encounter he had with Mothra near Cape Town.
Dr. Lind: Mm, he seems more peaceful now. Doesn't he?
Dr. Andrews: That's because he is. I think Ms. Ella is just having him roam around the world now.
Dr. Lind: Well, at least he isn't creating havoc anymore.
Dr. Andrews: That's a good thing, isn't it?
Dr. Lind: Yeah, it is. Godzilla on the other hand still seems pretty pissed off though.
Dr. Andrews: Yeah...
Dr. Lind and Dr. Andrews looked around the temple, the scientists scanning and examining Hollow Earth minerals. Jia tapped Ilene on the shoulder and signed.
Jia: What are they doing?
Dr. Andrews: They are examining the minerals.
Jia: Is this a good idea?
Dr. Andrews: Yes, we need to know more about Hollow Earth. And this is one of the ways we're doing that.
Jia: ...Ok.
Jia wasn't too fond of researching Hollow Earth, she was for just leaving it alone. But she didn't have much say in the decision. Kong wasn't too fond of it either, mostly because they were bothering him. One of the scientists came up to Ilene.
