Chapter 1

Lisia's POV:

I like Serena. Like, I really like her a lot.

She's really cool and pretty and I just love hanging out with her so much! I've felt like this ever since the first day I met her...

One day what felt like a few years ago but was actually only just a few months ago, she arrived outside of the Lilycove City Contest Hall. On that day I was scouting for new idols, my usual job, and when I looked at Serena for the first time, I felt myself blush so hard, She was just SO CUTE!!!

She looked a little lost so I walked over to her and introduced myself. She then introduced herself as Serena and explained that she was a performer from the Kalos region looking to become a coordinator in Hoenn. That got me really excited!

So I then led her inside the Contest Hall and showed her around and explained the basics of what it means to be a coordinator and how to do it. She nodded along to everything I said and then I helped her get sign up to do her first contest that day.

I found her an outfit to try on and so she went into the changing room. I waited outside since I was already dressed but when she came out, she looked so cute!

I quickly but gently brushed her hair and then I went on stage first. I performed with Ari, my Altaria, and since I have a lot of fans, I had a lot of glowsticls turning blue at the end.

But then it was her turn. She looked really nervous and then turned to me while I was waiting off stage. I gave her a reassuring thumbs up and then she smiled, nodded and gave one back before turning to the audience.

She took a deep breath and then let out a Sylveon. They then did their performance and she was actually really good! I never doubted her since she was previously a performer in Kalos but she surpassed my expectations.

Once she went off stage with pink glowsticks still visible in the audience, I immediately ran up to her and gave her a hug.

"Serena you did so good!" I exclaimed, squeezing her tightly.

"Really? You were definitely a lot better than me!" She replied.

"Well, we'll have to wait and see!" I said.

The last few coordinators performed and then we went back on stage for the results. It was announced that I was first, as it usually is, but second was Serena!

I hugged her on stage because I was so proud of her and then everyone clapped for us. She looked so happy and it made me so happy too.

After that point, we then became rivals. But not like vicious rivals, we actually became besties!

As the weeks went by I decided to take her on a tour all around Hoenn, we performed in Contest Halls all around the region and I introduced her to another coordinator that I'm good friends with called May and they got along. I even worked together with Wallace to make a contest outfit just like mine but orange for Serena, she loved it and we still match outfits to this day!

And during all of this time, my feelings for her became even stronger and apparent. I couldn't help but blush whenever we hugged or held hands and she's just so beautiful! And that's when I realised I was in love...

I'm still uncertain if she feels the way. I mean we are REALLY close but recently I have started to notice she has started to stare into space and look sad while doing so. I've asked if she's okay but she's always just out up a smile and told me she was fine, even though she really wasn't.

Deep down, I'm sure she does. I'm sure one day I'll know it's the right time to ask her out, she says yes, and then we live happily ever after! But, maybe not right now...
