1) Let's make a character be cursed with dishonesty. Everything they say is a lie. Their actions speak their intentions. However their words always becomes the opposite of they mean to say. Let's also add to the angst factor by making the said character have occasional moments when they accidentally do say the truth or intentionally lying, in order to keep their words sounding normal.

2) An alien dances with a lamp. Is the lamp alive? Is the alien a lamp? Why are they dancing? Does the alien like the lamp?

3) Death is a product in some dystopian world of the future. The poor cannot die, leaving them in constant suffering. Humans become immortal after 2500 and will gradually decay mentally from long life. They can no longer imagine what death is like. The rich only get richer and everything becomes a blur. Death is something that can only be bought by the wealthy.

4) What are dreams are made of? Do you picture it to be innocent? Do you picture it to be normal? Are dreams made of tears? Let's think of this as a silly idea that dreams are made of something morbid. What is it?

5) A house comes alive. It can manually transform as it pleases. It only comes alive thanks to many human deaths within it. The strong emotions cling to the house. It is now the embodiment of all those deaths and the following emotions. What does it think about its birth?

6) A detective interrogates objects. Could you imagine how funny it'd be if some police officer looks into the interrogating room and finds the detective arguing with a pen? It'd be funny regardless. I'd like to see object communication more. I want to see a detective beat up a chair for being terrible. Or anything that includes people fighting objects or hugging them like a crazy person due to their ability of communicating to objects.

7) Cave men fight space ships. Who wins?

8) A kind ghost is trying to reform a delinquent via possession. The delinquent wants to ruin their life, but the ghost is trying to fix their life by possessing them. Over time, the two become good friends and the delinquent changes their life for good as the ghost leaves for the afterlife after completing their heartfelt desire: to change someone's life for the better.

9) Make the typical family in a dystopia. What is the ideal family in a dystopia? Do they deny things when they see beyond the veil? What is their normal reactions to something they consider futile?

10) A dough mixer ends humanity.

11) The secret lives of a tattoo artist and a florist should be a thing. It'd be a nice addition if the secret lives were something polar opposite. The florist could secretly be a serial killer. The tattoo artist could secretly be a pop idol who's trying to move on after their fame has faded. Let's combine the tropes with the jobs.
