Midnight woke the following morning and checked the comments of his video. He gasped as his hair straightened. "This is terrible. I've gotta call, Harvest." He closed SnapGab and called his friend. "Harvest, you won't believe what happened."
"Uh, what?" Harvest asked as he wasn't fully awake yet.
"The mermaid I met, yesterday suggested that I tell my viewers I'm a party planner." Midnight started.
"Midnight, tell me you didn't." Harvest pleaded.
"I did." Midnight admitted with a sigh. "And now I'm the laughing stock of SnapGab."
"Oh, Midnight." Harvest said. "It can't be that bad."
"Trust me, it's bad." Midnight assured. "What do I do?"
"You're asking the wrong person." Harvest replied.
"Gee, thanks." Midnight said. "So helpful."
"I'm sorry." Harvest said. "I'm no good with tech, like you."
"I know. I'm just so worried that I just ruined my reputation."
"Hmm." Harvest mused. "Was there any good comments?"
"A couple." Midnight replied.
"What'd they say?" Harvest asked.
"They were happy I told them and that it certainly explained how I'm so good." Midnight replied.
"And the bad ones?" Harvest asked, curiously.
"They called me a cheater. A true party planner wouldn't use their powers for selfish gain." Midnight replied.
"It doesn't seem to me like your being selfish. Or are you?" Harvest asked, nervously.
"No." Midnight exclaimed in reply. "The reason I started making videos is so I can make more people smile. Time and time again, comment after comment, people tell me that watching my videos brightens their day."
"That's amazing, Midnight." Harvest commented. "You want some advice?"
"Of course." Midnight replied.
"You're a party planner, Midnight. So, focus on the good instead of the bad. Make the best of it. If I were you, I'd thank the people who aren't being mean." Harvest said. "That's my advice."
