Spike Witwicky was with his wife, Patricia, and his son, Daniel, floating through space in their wonderful spaceship home.
They were on their merry way to the planet Lithone for a family vacation, when suddenly, Spike got a strange call on his phone.
"Hello?", he asked.
"Oh god, you- you can't come here, it's gone..."
"What's gone?"
"Lithone! Th-there's nothing left but p-p-planet crumbs! Some people escaped, but, I swear, I'll look for them, and this whole debacle will be over with!"

Spike's wife looked at him, "Is everything ok, where did you say you were gonna' take us again, honey?"
"Uhh- there!", Spike exclaimed while pointing out the window at a strange part-metal planet with razor sharp steel rings.

Spike's son Daniel wanted to come to and Patricia didn't protest, but Spike was a bit worried, as he should.
He told Daniel to stay on the ship with wheelie, so he and Patricia could "see if the planet was safe for children".
Daniel was not happy.

Spike and his wife made their way down to the mysterious planet in one of their "sphere pods".
They landed on one of the less metal/metal-covered parts of the planet. There were grey trees everywhere, everything was so beautiful, but so dull at the same time.

Patricia asked Spike where they should set up camp, and where they should check for dangers first.
Spike just decided to go down the brick road that was conveniently located in front of them.

'I guess that means the place is inhabited...', spike thought.

As the couple went down the road, they came across a strange building.
It looked like a strange courthouse.

Inside the courtroom was a large pool with what looked to be a diving board. Even stranger, there was a throne too big for a human behind it.

"Hello! Is anyone there?!", Spike yelped.
Nobody answered.

Spike, told his wife to set up camp in the room, and by "set up camp", I mean "put down the sleeping bags".
The thought was that if the people who owned this place were to find them, they would explain more about the world Spike and Pat were on, or would simply just kick them out peacefully.

Spike slept well, not much to say about that, he just had some good dreams about himself and his family.

Spike woke up.
There was no noise, just a bad feeling.

He saw someone crawling out of the pool.
The pool had steep walls and no sign of a ladder, but somehow, a woman with long black hair managed to crawl up its wall.
It made spike feel more scared the more awoken he became.

Her head, with a crack, craned back farther than any human's could. Her mouth was agape, and she was covered in
mauling wounds.
Her head fell off.
Her hand was partially severed, and thus, could not hold her weight, as she fell into the pool.
Her hand was still holding onto the ledge.

Horrified, worried, and confused, Spike ran over to the pool and looked down to see if what he saw was true.
It was.
He saw 3 spherical creatures with large sharp teeth, bug-like eyes, and petite limbs with clawed hands. The woman's head was in the pool, not alive, but still with that look frozen on her face.

Spike darted away.

He ran over the still sleeping Patricia, breaking her ribs in the process.
Quickly, Spike spun around in regret.
"Oh god, I'm sorry!", he shrieked.
Suddenly, that thing popped out of the pool and took a bite out of her. The length of its mouth was as long as the entire measure of her body.
"PATRICIA!!!", Spike screamed at of the top of his lungs. He could no longer be in disbelief. If he couldn't call this a nightmare, why did he fear this would happen every time he closed his eyes it night.

Spike ran and ran as fast as he could whilst the creatures from the pool chased him through the courthouse halls.
As he bolted for his life, he saw something maroon and humanoid in his periphery. He couldn't look at it for too long, he was too busy running.
Whatever it was it must have tripped or distracted the creatures behind him, because he couldn't hear them by the time he made it to the entrance he came in through.

Finally! Spike made it outside! The sphere pod was right there too!
Spike rushed into the pod and flew back to the main ship like the personification of the wind itself!

"Daniel! Wheelie!", the sad man cried. "We need to go back to earth, that place is a death trap!"
Nobody answered.
On the counter, there was terrifying a note.

  "Dear Dad,
Me and Wheelie followed you without you knowing.
This ship is booooooooooooooring!
  -Daniel"

Spike remembered the thing he saw in the hall.
It was disheveled, torn apart, and barely recognizable as his own son.

I guess he wasn't a family man anymore.
