Chirping of birds and the sunlight which was directly hitting my face made me groan. I buried my face in the pillow and turned to the other but with a loud thud I fell on the ground.

"Mummmyyy" I cried rubbing my hand when I fell down from couch and I opened my half eyes only to see a pair of black eyes already watching me, hurriedly I opened my eyes and stood up as he closed his eyes and turned his face on the other side of the bed.

I glanced at the clock and was 5. This is the first time after my 12th board exams that I am waking up so early in the morning. Mother had said that today the kitchen will probably be there first, so get up early in the morning and get ready .

I decided to take a bath and get ready. I turned my heels to the bathroom but eyes were stuck on his sleeping figure "Dusht janwar" I murmured under my breath and groaned in pain when this time I hit my head on the wall.

I rubbed that area to soothe the pain when I heard him chuckling. I embarrass myself twice in 2 minutes. Well done Shivya, I'm so proud of you.

Taking out a dark pink banarasi saree whose weight seemed a little less than my own weight, I entered the bathroom and it was quite luxurious. I think I didn't see it clearly last night. I stripped my clothes and stood under the shower.

The cold water cascaded down, a welcome shock against my heated skin. It was like a thousand tiny needles, each one pricking away the fatigue of the day. I closed my eyes, leaning into the pressure, letting the water wash away tiredness.

The scent of the shampoo, a sweet, cool blend of strawberry and mint, filled the bathroom, mingling with the steam rising from the shower. I worked the lather into my hair, massaging my scalp with gentle fingertips.

The bathroom itself, bathed in the soft glow of the shower light, was a haven of white marble and gleaming chrome. It was a far cry from the cramped, utilitarian bathroom I shared with my cousins. This was a space of luxury, designed for relaxation and pampering.

As I rinsed the shampoo from my hair, I felt a new wave of energy coursing through me. The tiredness was gone, replaced by a sense of calm and rejuvenation. I stepped out of the shower, wrapping myself in a fluffy towel and my wet hair in another one.

Luckily I draped the saree around my figure but the pleats were not fitting perfectly, so I wore my saree three times. Oh god, I don't even have a phone to learn from YouTube. I knew how to wear saree but not this type of heavy and banarasi saree.

Struggling for almost 30 minutes I finally succeeded in making pleats of my saree. Making a neat bun of my hair and putting a little makeup with nude shade of lipstick. At last I wore all the heavy jewelleries and applied vermilion. I came inside the room adjusting my veil over my head.

I unlocked the room and when I was going out I saw the bed empty. I looked around the room to find him and then I shrugged off my shoulder, and went downstairs.
