The men of the family went to their respective work after having breakfast, except for one, Vedant Singh Raizada. No, he also went to work, but he didn't have breakfast with his family.

It had been four months since Shivya and Vedant got married, but after that, he never had his breakfast or dinner at home. He leaves for the factory before anyone wakes up and comes back after everyone sleeps.

"Ruh, your father was saying that Aakashi is coming in the evening with Sarthak," her mom said as she took the first bite of her paratha, and Ruh was screaming internally. Why wouldn't she? After all, her best friend was coming after four months!

"She will create scenes after coming " Juhi, her aunt, mumbled under her breath and turned toward Ruh. "There is no need to talk to her; she herself is ill-mannered, and she will make you like her." Ruh listened to her aunt's words quietly because she couldn't talk back to the elders.

"Juhi, what rubbish!Does anyone say such a thing about such a lovely girl?"" Malini, her grandmother, chimed in, her voice laced with disapproval. "Aakashi is a lovely girl, and you should be happy she's coming to visit."

Juhi scoffed, "You like everybody, Maa, like that queen because of whom our Vedant is getting distanced from everybody." Apurva's hand froze in the middle; Juhi smirked, knowing she hit the right spot. "By the way, where is the queen?

At the same time, Shivya walked towards the dining table wearing a dark green, heavy-bordered banarasi saree with some jewellery; her veil was covering her hair. She didn't say anything, just sat on her chair.

She started making her plate, putting four aloo parathas, a bowl full of curds, and aachar. How could anyone not feel hungry after waking up at 5 in the morning and preparing breakfast for the whole family?

If that person is a big foodie, then it's impossible. She became an expert in making dishes like aloo paratha, pulao, butter paneer, and palak curry and aloo matar because all of these are her favorites.

No one knows that she doesn't know how to cook properly except for Ruh and Aakshi. Aakshi left for home two days after the wedding, but Ruh, who is her only best friend, has taken care to keep her secret safe.

Ruh always helps her in the kitchen, as she knows what will happen if someone finds out. For many families, it's a normal thing, but in her family, girls should know how to do household chores.

"Don't you feel a little bit of shame?" Shivya stopped eating and raised her head from her plate to look at Juhi Bua, who was glaring at her. "Your husband never ate at home, and still, you didn't care."

"I didn't tell him to do this; it's his life, his choice." Everyone gasped at her words. In the family, no one replies back to elders, but she's not part of the family. She never wanted to become a part of a place where she always felt suffocating.
