The match continues in the confined room, the artificial turf beneath your cleats giving the usual soft, controlled feedback as you move. No roaring crowd, just the quiet hum of Blue Lock's facility echoing in the background as you and your teammates face off against Team Z.

Your senses are on high alert, and though you can't see the turf, you can feel every shift in the room—the quiet thud of the ball as it's passed, the breathing and footsteps of your opponents closing in on you. It's intense, but that's what keeps you sharp.

"Y/N, here!" Reo calls, sending the ball toward you. You easily catch the sound of it slicing through the air, receiving it with a smooth touch.

You dribble past a defender, using the sounds of movement to guide you. Your feet shift quickly, cutting through the space between them. It feels easy—too easy, honestly—but you're not one to get complacent.

"nice." Nagi's voice chimes in from somewhere off to your left, though it lacks any real enthusiasm. It's hard to tell if he's even paying attention or just daydreaming about his next nap.

With a quick flick, you line up the shot. Your foot connects with the ball, and the sound of it hitting the back of the net is all the confirmation you need.

"4-0," Reo announces with a smug grin in his voice, clearly pleased with your performance.

But even without sight, you can sense something has changed. The atmosphere in the room shifts. The tension from Team Z rises, and their footsteps become quicker, more coordinated.

This isn't over yet.

A quick pass from one of their players—Isagi, you assume—cuts through your defense like a knife. Suddenly, Chigiri's fast, almost too fast for you to track just by sound alone.

"You're not bad," he says with a playful tone, his voice light as he races past you.

"You're alright too, I guess," you respond, grinning, trying to keep up with his swift pace. It's a challenge you weren't expecting.

The ball zips between your team's defense, and then it's in the back of your net.

"4-1," Chigiri says, his breathing a little heavier now, but the confidence is still there.

You laugh under your breath. "Guess you got me that time."

But the game's not over. Team Z starts to rally, their teamwork and coordination tightening up. Isagi's presence on the field is growing—he's clearly got a strategic mind, directing his teammates with precision.

Another quick goal.

4-2.

Then another.

4-3.

"Maybe we should take this a bit more seriously?" Reo suggests, jogging over to your side, his tone more serious now.

"Maybe," you agree, feeling the pressure of the game shift. You can hear Isagi calling out plays, his determination palpable even in the echoing space.

But it's not enough.

Chigiri breaks through your defense one more time. His light, quick footsteps dash past you before you can fully react.

"You're fast, but not fast enough," you tease, trying to match his speed.

"Catch me next time," Chigiri laughs, sending the ball to Isagi, who lines up the shot perfectly.

4-4.

Now it's getting intense. Team Z is no longer holding back, and neither are you. But before you can fully recover, they push through again, their movements faster, more synchronized than before.

The sound of the ball hitting the net once more.

4-5.

The whistle blows, signaling the end of the game.

You exhale slowly, not too bothered by the loss. You've won all your other games, and most importantly, you're still moving forward.

As you head back to the locker room, Reo nudges you with a light laugh. "We'll get them next time. Besides, we're still advancing."

Nagi, as usual, just yawns. "Can we nap now?"

You smirk. "Always with the naps."

"That girl-boy was fast, huh?" Reo says, clearly impressed by your banter on the field.

"He's alright," you say with a grin. "Not fast enough, though."

"Pretty sure he caught up to you, Y/N," Reo teases.

You just laugh, brushing it off as you leave the room with your teammates. Despite the loss, you're still in a good mood. After all, Team V is moving forward, and that's all that matters.

After the game, you, Nagi, and Reo make your way back to the locker room. The tension from the match has melted away, and everyone is focused on one thing—rest. Well, mostly Nagi.

"Can we nap now?" Nagi groans, rubbing the back of his neck lazily, his usual energy—or lack thereof—on full display.

"You're obsessed with naps," Reo says, but there's no bite in his voice. He sounds almost resigned to it at this point.

You laugh, shaking your head. "Obsessed is putting it lightly."

Nagi yawns, leaning into you as if he might just collapse if you don't support him. You roll your eyes but don't shove him off, allowing the sleepy giant to rest his head on your shoulder for now.

"Let's find a quiet spot," Reo suggests, glancing around as the three of you make your way to the far end of the locker room. It's quiet there, tucked away from the noise of the rest of the facility.

Nagi wastes no time, sprawling out on the bench as soon as you arrive. He grabs your arm and pulls you down beside him, leaving you squished between him and Reo. You huff a little, but the comfort of the situation is undeniable.

"Steak can wait," Nagi mumbles, his voice barely audible as he nestles his head into the crook of your neck. His breath is slow and even, like he's already halfway to falling asleep.

Reo chuckles, leaning back against the wall beside you. "Always steak or sleep with this guy."

"Priorities," you joke, feeling the warmth of both of them pressing into your sides. It's not awkward, though. If anything, the close proximity feels oddly reassuring after the intense game.

For a moment, the three of you stay there in silence, the low hum of Blue Lock's facility buzzing faintly in the background.

Reo shifts beside you, draping an arm lazily over the back of the bench. "Next time we'll win, you know. We're still the best."

Nagi's half-asleep voice mumbles from beside you, "Yeah... as long as you both keep passing to me..."

You smile, shaking your head slightly. "So demanding."

Reo chuckles, his fingers tapping lightly against the back of the bench. "Get used to it. It's how he works."

Nagi doesn't even respond, his breathing already slowing down as sleep takes over. You can feel his body weight pressing against you more heavily now, but you don't mind. The warmth and calm make you feel like drifting off too.

Before you know it, the three of you are huddled together, lulled by the quiet and the soft hum of the room. There's no need to rush. You've earned this nap, after all.
