I could eat that girl for lunch

I groggily open my eyes and am blinded by the bright lights of the Bay.
"Hey," Dr. Banner says, "good to see that you're awake." There he goes again, saying how it's good that I'm awake. How strange. "We can take the IVs and stuff out of you now."
He gently wiggles the ten needles out of my arms. I didn't realize how much it was taking to keep me alive.
"So," he says, "Wanda will be here soon to show you to your room."
Some more awkward silence, and Wanda walks in.
"Hi," she says, "you ready?"
"Yeah," I say as she comes over and helps me stand up, "I'm ready." I wobble a bit, but she puts an arm around my shoulders and steadies me.
"Let's go," she says, using her powers to float my stuff along with us.
"Bye," Bruce says and I say bye back.
Me and Wanda walk to the elevator and she presses the button for the twenty first floor. We step out of the elevator, and she helps me hobble down to a door at the end of the hall.
"I can stay if you want," Wanda starts, "or I can leave to let you get settled in."
"Um, do you think I could get settled in?" As much as I want her to stay, I want to get familiar with my space.
"Of course," she says. We say our goodbyes, and she walks back to the elevator to do whatever it is Wanda does.
