The door opens and in walks five of the Avengers. Kate Bishop, Natasha Romanoff, Wanda Maximoff, Tony Stark, and Groot. And they all look happy that I'm awake. This day just keeps getting stranger.
"Oh my god," I say, "this is so cool!"
"I am Groot," says Groot.
"I know," I respond, "I could've done without almost dying in a dirty alleyway."
Tony looks at me strangely.
He asks, "you understood Groot?"
"Yeah," I say, "couldn't you?"
"No," Wanda says, "all we heard was 'I am Groot'. I think it's cool that you can understand him." I blush, though I don't know why. Wanda is very pretty.
"Well," Tony says, "Natasha said you shot ice at them?"
I dip my head in shame as I say, "yeah. I'm sorry if I hurt her."
"No," Nat says, "you don't have to be sorry. It's good to know that if were healthy, you would be able to defend yourself." I blush again.
"What's your name?" Wanda asks this sort of timidly.
"Ivy," I say.
"Ivy," she repeats, "that's a really pretty name." Now we're both blushing, and Nat raises an eyebrow.
"Ice isn't the only thing I can do," I say, "there's other stuff."
"Could you show us?" Kate speaks for the first time since she's been in the room.
"Yeah," I say, "I'd love to."
I grow a little tree in front of Groot, who looks at me with wide eyes. I then make a little rain cloud over the tree, and blow the little branches around. I get ready to set the tree on fire, but Groot looks so happy with it.
"Does someone have a piece of paper?" I ask this after a moment of hesitation.
"Yeah," Tony says, "here." He gives me a piece of paper from a notepad in his pocket, and I set it on fire then snuff the flames.
"I've got the four elements," I say with a yawn, "fire, water, air, earth. And I can combine them."
"Well," Nat says, "you're probably really tired. We should let you get some sleep." I say goodbye to everyone, blushing again when I lock eyes with Wanda. Dr. Banner dims the lights again, and I'm out within a few minutes.
