Panic grips him as he elbows his way through the throngs of travelers, calling out her name. His heart thunders in his chest, a mix of love and fear pumping through his veins. He reaches the boarding gate just as the final call is announced.
Dami stands at the edge of the Jetway, her hand on the railing, ready to board the plane that will take her away from the chaos of her life. She looks back over her shoulder, the sight of Yoongi pushing through the crowd making her pause. Their eyes meet, and she feels a tug in her heart, the weight of their unspoken words and actions heavy between them. And then, when the person behind her asks her to move faster, she doesnt. In fact, she leaves her bag in the terminal and takes a few steps back to Yoongi.
She pauses as she reaches the circle of fans surrounding Yoongi and waits. Yoongi's moments stop as he gazes at her in frustration mixed with desperation. The crowd turn curiously, following their idols' gaze and part, circling around the pair.
"Are you going to leave me again?" He asks tentatively, hesitating at his words, no longer sure of anything. Dami's eyes lower to the ground in sorrow. "You said what you wanted to- without hearing my side. And now you're leaving again?"
Their eyes lock, and the weight of the past few days hits them like a tidal wave. The tears fall freely now, mixing with the chaos of the airport. Yoongi pulls her into a tight embrace, and she melts into his arms, feeling the warmth and safety she had missed for so long. The scent of him, the strength of his embrace, it's all so real and yet so surreal.
"Please, don't go," he whispers into her hair, his voice thick with emotion. "Jiwon and I, we're not together, Mi."
Her eyes widen in shock, a silent gasp escaping her lips. "Since when?"
"Since I realized I couldn't marry her knowing how much I love you."
The revelation hits Dami like a punch to the gut. She had been so focused on her own guilt and fear that she had never considered the possibility that Yoongi might have taken some action instead of lying to Jiwon.
"This is going to be a scandal, Yoo-"
He shakes his head impatiently. "I don't care about any of that. All I care about is you. If you're happy, I'm happy."
Dami drops her gaze, the tension between them palpable. The air is thick with unspoken words and the ache of lost time. Dami takes a deep breath, feeling the gravity of the moment. "I'm sorry," she whispers, "I'm so sorry for everything."
Yoongi's grip on her tightens, his heart racing with hope. "Don't be sorry," he says, his voice a gentle rumble against her ear. "Just stay. Stay with me, let's figure this out together."
Dami looks up at him, her eyes brimming with a mix of emotions—love, fear, and relief. After what seems like a lifetime, she nods.
The airport fades into the background as Yoongi snatched her into a kiss. Their bodies press closer, the heat between them growing, and they know that there's no going back. They need to be together, no matter the cost. Yoongi break the kiss, panting, and look into his love's eyes.
"Let's go home," he murmurs, the words barely audible over the cacophony of the airport.
Home.
The word resonates within Dami's soul as they leave the chaos of the airport behind. Yoongi's hand is a steady anchor in hers, guiding her through the crowd. The anticipation builds with every step, the heat between them palpable.

The moment the door clicks shut behind them, the dam breaks. Yoongi's hands are everywhere- her lips, her neck, her collarbone. Dami's own hands are equally eager, exploring the contours of his back, tracing the lines of his muscles beneath his shirt. They stumble through the living room, tripping over the rug, laughing into each other's mouths as they try to shed their clothes without breaking the kiss.
