SPOILER!!
I appreciated his honesty, but my insecurities were still swirling. I took another breath, deciding to lay it all out. "Ahaan, main kabhi aape doubt nahi kiya, and never will" I admitted. "Lekin pata nahi kyun, Sheena ke case mein, mujhe ajeeb lagta hai. Maine pehle bhi ladkiyon ko apke baare mein baat karte suna hai, but with her... I don't know, it just bothers me. I just get irked even saying her name." I hesitated, then added, "Maybe because she's... she's kinda more beautiful?"
(I never doubted you, Ahaan. It's just... my insecurities kicked in. This is the first time I've heard girls talking about you like that)
Ahaan's laughter was gentle, and then he teased, "Aur thodi zyada plastic doll jaisi?"
(And more like a plastic doll)
I couldn't help but laugh with him, feeling some of my tension melt away. His playful tone and sweet words made my heart flutter.
"Akansha, tumhe pata hona chahiye," he said softly, his voice filled with sincerity, "Mere liye tum ho, sirf tum. Mujhe koi aur nahi chahiye. Especially koi 'plastic dolls' jaisi."
(Akansha, by now you should be knowing this) (For me it's only you. I don't want anyone. Especially not a 'Plastic dolls')
His words wrapped around me like a warm blanket, dispelling the last of my insecurities. I could feel my worries vanish in the soft glow of his reassurance.
