New Day

Damon's POV
I walk into school and see my group of friends. Their names are Stefan, Matt, Tyler, Klaus, and Kai. We're all on the football team but I don't trust Kai at all. If I tell you what he did it will bring back the memories.
"Guys have you seen that new chick Elena? She's totally hot." Stefan says.
"She's mine guys" I tell them all with a stern voice. Kai just looks at me with the nasties look. But then again he always does so I don't think I have to worry about it.

Elena's POV
I walk to the girl restroom and this guy is standing at the door. He's cute but I still have my eye on Damon.
"Hey Elena" he says in a really creepy way.
"Uhm, Hi.." I think for a second "Kai right? your Damon's friend"
He looks at me with pure pleasure and says "I wouldn't say friend but it will do."
"Can I do anything for you?" I ask trying not to show that I'm very creeped out.
"No, that's it"
"Okay, See you later Kai."
"Bye beauty" he says with a wink.
I gag, he is the creepiest person I have ever met. I literally just met him today and he called me beauty. I decide to text Damon about my encounter with Kai.
E: Damon? Can you talk?
D: Yeah, what's up?
E: I just had a very creepy talk with your friend Kai.
D: What did he say to you?
E: It wasn't what he was saying it was the look in his eye and the fact that he was standing outside the ladies room.
D: Wow, I'll talk to him.
E: Thanks Damon :)
D: Anything for you :)
As I'm walking back to Alaric Stultzman's class I feel like I'm being watched. I turn around and look behind me but no one is there so I just enter the class room and pretend that nothing had happened.

Damon's POV
I walk up to Kai with pure rage on my face. I'm going to set him straight about my feelings for Elena.
"Listen here Kai. I don't know what kind of game your playing on Elena but I don't like it" I told Kai with pure confidence.
Stefan and Klaus look at Kai in disbelief.
"Kai, what did you do to her?" Stefan asks
"All I did was talk to her I swear" Kai says while laughing. "Matt... Tyler. Let's go"
He takes his little posse and goes to the stoner/drunkie pit. While I see the most beautiful girl in the world walking down the hall with her friends. And I you haven't realized.. it's Elena, Bonnie, Katherine, and Caroline.

Stefan's POV
Katherine looks so beautiful in the blue dress. I want to ask her out so bad. The bad part is.. I don't know how. I'll ask the guys to help me out later.

Klaus' POV
Look at that beautiful creature over there. With her gorgeous blond locks. I can't take my eyes off of her. I'll tell the guys about my crush later. I just want to enjoy the view.

Elena's POV
Bon, Care, and Kath are all over at my house when we hear knocking.
"I'll get it" I say as I get up. I'm pretty much naked so I grab a blanket and put it around my waist because I just have my favorite night shirt on.
"Well hello Elena" Kai says with that creepy look.
"What do you want Kai?"
"I want you to go out with me"
I stare at him with pure horror, "First off how did you get my address? and second of all no" so I slam the door in his face and lock it.
"Who was that?" Care yells.
"It was that creep Kai" I say still in shock
"Who cares? Let's finish Insidious! I almost shit my pants" Kath yells.
"Shhhh! I'm pretty sure Alaric and Jen are home!" Bonnie says
"Well they're gonna hear a whole lot of screaming!" Katherine laughs and we all join her. I have the best bestfriends anyone could ask for!

"Oh Shit!" Bonnie yells
"What?!" I jump in terror.
"We're late for school!" Bon shouts "Care you dumbass, I told you to set the alarm!"
"I'm sorry! I forgot!" Care shouts back.
"Shut the hell up guys, it's one tardy. it's not going to kill you" Katherine says
"Everybody just get dressed. We'll leave in 10 minutes and we'll stop and get breakfast." I say. And thus begins our school day off right.

Damon's POV
I texted Elena this morning asking if she wanted a ride. I guess she's must be at school already. As I'm driving to school I get a text from Stefan and I was very surprised about.
S: Should I ask Katherine to the dance?
D: Where is this coming from?
S: I've always had a crush on her, but I've been too afraid to ask.. so do you think I should?
D: Yes dude! I'm asking Elena today :)
S: She'll say yes with that cute little smile of hers
D: bro
S: Just kidding! She's all yours.
D: Cya at school bro
S: Yeah
Once I arrive at school I see that Elena isn't in first period. So I text her to make sure she's safe. If anything happens to her my whole life will be over.
D: Elena are you okay?
E: Yeah, the girls and I over slept, we'll be at school any minute now.
D: Okay :) and are you doing anything tonight?
E: No, why?
D: I have something planned for you. I put a little surprise in your locker :) don't look at it till after school and meet me at the pond.
E: Okay, got it :) I can't wait.
D: Me either :)
