The dinner party has ended. Everyone is gathered around the coffee table, where BO has pulled out a deck of cards.
BO
How about a game? Loser does the dishes.
Playful groans fill the room.
LUKE
Oh no, not again! Last time, I was washing dishes for a week.

(laughing)
I'll take my chances. I've got to get better at this!
They shuffle the cards and get ready to play. As the game begins, Y/N starts to feel more comfortable.
LUKE
So, Y/N, what have you been up to all this time? Any wild stories from the road?
Y/N hesitates, then opens up, her voice softer.

Well, my foster family was really nice, but we moved around a lot. I missed having a place to call home, you know?
Bo and Luke exchange glances, understanding the weight of her words.

The sun streams through the window as Y/N wakes up early, eager to start her day. She tiptoes to the kitchen and finds JESSE flipping pancakes.

Morning, Uncle Jesse! Need a hand?
JESSE
Sure do! How about you whip up some pancakes? I'll handle the bacon.
They work side by side, laughter filling the air as Y/N attempts to flip her first pancake.

Okay, here goes nothing!
The pancake lands on the floor instead of the plate.

Guess that one's for the floor!
Jesse chuckles.
JESSE
Don't worry, it's just a practice run. Just like riding a bike—you'll get the hang of it!
BO and LUKE stumble in, still groggy.
BO
Morning, sleepyheads! What's for breakfast?
LUKE
(smirking)
Is it too early for burnt pancakes?
Y/N playfully throws a napkin at Luke.

Just you wait! These pancakes will be legendary!

You in? Or are you afraid we'll beat you?
