~Trinity's POV~

I looked at Kyle, who stormed out the room like a volcano ready to explode. His fists were bawled up, as eyes were narrow for as much as I could tell.

Whoa! Don't need to cross his path, I thought, warning myself.

"You're little boyfriend will get it handed to him one day. When he does, you better have a shoulder to lean on because you're going to need it." He threatened.

I shrugged, and laughed under my breath as I went to walk out. When I heard him say after me, "Don't repeat this to your boy. He'll figure it out soon enough."

Like you'd actually mess with him again.

I walked out of the room, with my bag in hand after packing it, and I grab Kyle's hand as we walk past my father.

He just stands there, as if he doesn't really want to approve of this, but just shakes his head. "You better bring her back!" He calls after us, and Kyle just gives him a thumbs up from behind.

Tonight, Tonight is going to be great. No more worrying. Not for a few hours. Just peace, and freedom. Something I've lonnged for a long time.

He grabs his bike, wheeling it to his house as we walk side-by-side.

"Trinity, I'm always going to be here for you." Kyle says, glancing at me.

I look at him and smile lightly, "You're amazing, Kyle."

He smiles at me, and then goes back to looking forward. "Is your father always that aggressive toward you?" he asked, with a unsure express.

I look at him, contemplating whether I should tell him or not, then I jump when I hear a branch snap.

"We need to talk about this in a more safe and secure place. This isn't it." I reply quickly, as I check around us.

Clear.

He nods his head slowly, and for those next few minutes we walk quietly. Thoughts filling the surface, but at that moment I knew things would be fine...for now.
