The Fire Pavilion is one of the three realms of the world and sequentially the 2nd most powerful realm after the heavens. It was previously known as the demon realm before a great reform took place thousands of years ago, therefore "redeeming" and "reforming" the demons into demons that would pay their respect to the heavens and not rebel. The heavens had a decent amount of control over the fire pavilion who had agreed to negotiate peace amongst them and keep that peace.

The fire pavilion was home to many demons. Although they were now regarded as immortal as well and not necessarily evil Scheming demons, there were still some biased treatment amidst people in view of them. They were naturally seen as evil and would pretty much be the prime suspect whenever something bad happens. It was a mindset that would be almost impossible to eliminate since they were still associated with the term "demons"

The land of the fire pavilion was vast. Housing many sects in it. The capital of the fire pavilion was the Phoenix sect, and therefore power resided there. That was the home of the royal family of the fire pavilion, the family that ruled the fire pavilion. And the home to YanTing.

YanTing was the son of the king and queen of the fire pavilion. They were the rulers of the realm and equally the sect leader of the phoenix Sect.  With his father already late, His mother was the sole ruler of the fire pavilion and he was the prince of the fire pavilion.

On some occasions, he was referred to as "The demon prince" By people outside the fire pavilion.

"Aren't you two coming?" XueLuo questioned as he stared at the two young men behind.

YanTing said nothing but approached him. HongYang also followed behind. The two had caught up with him soon as XueLuo walked towards the Royal Mansion of the phoenix Sect.

The Queen, YanTing's mother, had come to welcome them. She stood at the entrance with some Officials of the realm and some guards. That was them showing "courtesy" to XueLuo even though they didn't wish to. YanTing had Insisted they do.

"Greetings dear god" The officials chorused.  XueLuo could feel the insincerity in them but smiled nevertheless. He nodded in acceptance of their greetings as he looked at the Queen.

He walked up to the Queen and gave a slight bow "Greetings your Highness, I've heard great tales of the queen of the fire Pavilion. Tales of her bravery and courageousness, I'm truly honoured to finally meet you in person"

The queen forced a smile "Your flatter me. I'm the one who is pleased to meet the great god of war and peace"

"While on my way, I thought of a perfect gift for you" He smiled as he stretched out his hands. All stared cautiously to see what he'd pull out. And then a red flower appeared on his hands.

A dazzling red flower that glittered. And then with a glance he transformed the flower into a hairpin. A golden hair pin with a red flower on it  "It's a rare gem I had come across a certain time. The phoenix feather rose that blossoms once in a century. I figured its elegance would match yours" He handed it to her with a smile.

The Queen, still with her smile on, accepted it. She had to be nice at least. "I've heard a lot about you but I never did know that you had a sweet tongue. I'm honoured to have your gifts" she smiled.

XueLuo nodded, seemingly pleased with himself.

The Queen looked at one of the guards beside her. "Please take him to his room. It must have been tiring after all the journey"

"Sure" The guard agreed as he turned to XueLuo "Please follow me"

"I'll take him instead" YanTing said from where he stood behind XueLuo. Standing tall and aloof.
