High up on the mountain, where the Jade palace stood, Master Yumi, was peacefully playing her wooden flute underneath a tree, surrounded by the bushes and trees that nestle between the palace buildings, her mind was lost from the peace and quiet, and the music of her flute she played.
But in hiding, figures waiting for the right time.
Yumi was oblivious.
Suddenly five figures dash out of hiding, simultaneously diving on, Yumi, charging towards her.
Jake, master of tiger style of Kung Fu. Like a tiger he could cut easily through the thickest objects, and attack the enemy with harsh damage.
Carlos, master of snake style of Kung Fu. He carries a rope dart works as a serpent tail.
Ace, master of crane style of Kung Fu. She is light and is able to dash through the air, able to glide wearing her cape cloak as if like wings.
Katie, master of mantis style of Kung Fu. She carries gauntlet forearm blades, as the arms of a mantis spares.
Taylor, master of Monkey style of Kung fu. at time's she carries a staff to preform monkey style of kung fu, but in this case, she is not.
Yumi moves as fast as lighting, wielding her flute as a staff. Avoiding the attacks and strikes, she deflects, blocks, dodges, and fights back, as her students go flying rolling and picking themselves back up to face her, who is poised ready for their next move.
"Well done, Students... If you were trying to disappoint me!" Yumi stated.
The five were regaining their breaths, as they bowed with respect. While Yumi corrected each of the five's techniques.
"Jake, you need more ferocity!
Taylor, greater speed!
Ace, height!
Carlos, subtlety.
Katie-""Master Yumi!" Skye called.
"What!" Replied Yumi impatiently.
"Ah!" Skye yips from sudden. "It's Master Marjorie. She wants to see you."
Yumi looks up, concerned. She wasted no time and runs into the scroll room where Marjorie is located. The doors opened for her as she enters and closed doors from behind her, striding down the hallway.
Candles lit, smoke filling the room, as the candles flicker from the sudden rush.
Yumi stops and takes a deep breath. Bowing in respect in front of Marjorie.
"Master Marjorie? You've summoned me?" She looks up. "Is something wrong?"
Marjorie who was meditating on her staff. Slowly climbs down from it. "Why must something be wrong for me to want to see my old friend?"
"So... Nothing's wrong?" Yumi asked.
"I didn't say that." Marjorie replied. She opens her mouth and blows out a candle. And another. And another. And another.
Finally Yumi uses her Kung Fu to blow out all the candles.
"You were say?"
"I've had a vision... Victoria Vance will return."
Yumi with horror, regains flashbacks from Victoria destroying everything and attacking with force, with battle scars and marks.
"That is impossible! She's in prison!" Yumi stated still shocked.
"Nothing is impossible." Marjorie said.
Making a split decision.
"Skye!" Yumi calls.
Skye come flying in. Yumi gets all up in her face and exclaims.
"Fly to Chogun Prison and tell them to double the guards! Double their weapons! Double everything! Victoria Vance does not leave that prison!!"
"Yes, Master Yumi." Skye replied, taking off only to hit the colunn before then taking off.
"One often meets him/hers destiny on the road he/she takes to avoid it." Marjorie said.
"We have to do something. We can't just let her march on the valley, and take her revenge! She'll, She'll-" Yumi replied trying to think of something.
Marjorie looked into the water of the moon pool.
"Your mind is like this water, my friend. When it's agitated, it becomes difficult to see. But if you allow it to settle, the answer becomes clear."
Yumi and Marjorie stare into the pool. As the water settles it reveals the reflection of an intricately carved dragon clutching a scroll in it's mouth. Both Masters looked up at the ceiling.
"The Dragon scroll..."
"It is time."
"But who? Who is worthy to be trusted with the secret to limitless power?" Yumi asked in question. "To be come... the dragon warrior?!"
"... I don't know" Marjorie replied.
