Omniscient POV:

Fantasia woke up in the middle of the night, feeling an urgent need to use the restroom. She tried to move, but something held her back. As she looked down, she realized that Taraji had wrapped her arms around her tightly.

"Taraji," she whispered softly, hoping to wake her without startling her. There was no response. Fantasia gently shook Taraji's body, trying to rouse her from her sleep. Slowly, Taraji's eyes fluttered open, and she stared at Fantasia with a sleepy yet intense gaze.

Fantasia chuckled softly, "I need to use the restroom," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Taraji didn't respond with words; instead, she leaned in and kissed Fantasia on the lips, a tender and lingering kiss that made Fantasia's heart flutter. Then, Taraji loosened her grip, allowing Fantasia to get up. Fantasia smiled to herself as she made her way to the bathroom, the warmth of Taraji's kiss still lingering on her lips.

After finishing in the restroom, Fantasia returned to bed, where Taraji immediately clung to her again, as if she couldn't bear to be apart from her for even a moment.

Fantasia turned on the TV, settling on The Parkers, but she found it hard to focus on the show. Her eyes kept drifting back to Taraji, who was now sleeping peacefully beside her. Fantasia's mind was a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions, filled with dreams of spending every moment with Taraji, of being by her side 24/7.

The thought of their future together made Fantasia's heart swell with happiness. Taraji, sensing that she was being watched, opened her eyes and looked directly at Fantasia. Their eyes locked, and in that moment, it felt as if time stood still. Fantasia smiled warmly at her, and Taraji returned the smile, her eyes filled with love and contentment.

Fantasia cuddled closer to her, feeling Taraji's warmth envelop her. They held each other tightly, finding comfort and peace in each other's arms. As they drifted back to sleep, Fantasia felt an overwhelming sense of joy and contentment, knowing that she was exactly where she was meant to be.

Taraji's POV:

I woke up to the soft light filtering through the curtains. I blinked a few times, adjusting to the morning glow, and glanced over to see Fantasia still peacefully asleep. Quietly, I slipped out of bed, careful not to disturb Fantasia, and made my way to the bathroom. The cool tiles under my feet sent a shiver up my spine, but I quickly turned on the shower, letting the warm water cascade over me. As I stood there, my mind drifted back to the kiss we shared last night. Guilt washed over me almost as strongly as the water streaming down my body. Fantasia was married, and that kiss, however brief and impulsive, felt like a betrayal.

Determined to shake off the feeling, I finished my shower, wrapped myself in a towel, and went to my room to get dressed. I chose a comfortable pair of jeans and a cozy sweater, hoping the familiar clothes would ground me in the normalcy of the day. Peeking out, I saw that Fantasia was still asleep, so I tiptoed downstairs to start breakfast. The kitchen was my sanctuary, a place where I can lose myself in the rhythm of cooking. I cracked eggs into a bowl, whisking them with practiced ease, and set a pan on the stove. As the eggs sizzled, my phone buzzed on the counter. It was Janet, my best friend.

"Hey girl, what's up?" I answered, balancing the phone between my ear and shoulder as I flipped the eggs.

"Not much, just checking in. Wanna go for lunch today?" Janet's voice was cheerful, a stark contrast to my conflicted thoughts.
