The flyers for Edward's back-to-school party were already going around the school, and even elementary school kids wanted to attend this party that, according to many, would be more than epic. After all, Edward was the king of parties, and since this would be his last year at school, people expected nothing less than a great party. The flyers even reached the rival classroom, 1F3AC.
"Did you see that Plazezwski is going to start his party quota this year?" Gabriella Peters said, handing one of the flyers to Nicholas.
"A party the day before the game? They're crazy." Marina Thompson commented, making Rafael's smile grow even bigger. "What's up, Rafa?"
"They're crazy! And that's brilliant." she said.
"I didn't get that one." Nicholas said.
"Think about it, a huge party the day before the game... The 1F3BC boys get so drunk that they can't wake up the next day to play." Rafael concluded. "We have to go to this party."
"It's brilliant. " Mason said, patting Falcon on the back. "Get your party dress ready, sweetie." he said, looking at Gabriella. "We have a party today."•••
Once again, Nattalie Owen spent the break at the 1F3BC boys' table. Riley watched the scene from afar along with Mike and Anna. She didn't like the whole situation at all. This new girl was driving her crazy in every way. Rie saw her best friend, Izzy, smile broadly as she sat next to the girl at the table. She raised her eyebrows, just like Michael.
"What is she doing?" the boy asked without taking his eyes off the table.
"She's being fake." she narrowed his eyes to see better. "I want to know why."
"This girl can't fool me. She's plotting something against Nathalia." Anna said.
"Nattalie." Michael corrected.
"No one cares." Riley and Anna said together.
"I'm going to find out." Riley said walking towards the table.
"What? NO! RILEY, COME BACK HERE..."
Michael's screams were inaudible when the girl got very close to the table. Matthew, Tate, Becker, Snyder and Lucas were sitting there next to the two girls.
"Look" Peter said making everyone look at Riley. "If it isn't my favorite shorty. Sit with us." He pushed Tate aside to make room for the girl who smiled as she sat down.
"What are you talking about?"
"About the party, of course." Izzy answered eating her chips. "The beautiful party I helped plan.
"I still think getting drunk isn't a good idea, since we have the first game tomorrow." Lucas commented.
"Uh... I hadn't thought about that." Rie replied. "But going to a party doesn't require you to drink, you can enjoy it without alcohol."
"It won't be the same." Sinclair lamented.
"Don't worry, Matthew. Nattalie and I will drink for you." Izzy said laughing.
"Are you going to the party?" Riley asked intrigued.
"Um, yes. Izzy and Eddie invited me and my, uhm, boy friend last night." she replied a little shyly. Now everything made sense. Rie had known from the beginning that Izzy was being fake, but she didn't know why, now, after a few minutes sitting next to her, Riley discovered the answer. Izzy was an evil genius when she wanted to be.
"I didn't know you had a boyfriend." Tate said.
"You guys don't know anything about me... Yet.
"Izzy." Riley called. "Come with me to buy some juice."
"Nah, I'm... Hey, calm down, I'm going."
Riley pulled Izzy's arm to the cafeteria, they were already far away from the table."You're so fake, girl." They both laughed. "Where did you get that idea?"
"That boy is way out of her league, let's face it." Rie agreed. "And the way he's been staring at me these past few days, oh, you know I need to kiss him."
"Cruel. But I liked it." she said. "That girl is going to learn that we came before her, and she needs to start respecting us."
"Say it, sis."Polygon East Center High — 03/01/2017, 12:12 PM.
The bell to dismiss had already rung a few minutes ago, all the high school students were gathered at the entrance of the school, everyone had flyers for Eddie's party in their hands and were excitedly talking to their friends about how they were going there that night.
Riley had arranged to meet Anna and Izzy in front of the Plazezwski mansion. He had some things to take care of at home, so he didn't even say goodbye to anyone and ran to the bus stop.
Once again, Aiden was on the other side of the street waiting for his best friend and saw the short girl running down the avenue. He was sure he had seen her leaving school with that other girl. That other girl.
"Natt!" he shouted, signaling for his friend to cross the street.
"Hey," the girl said, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek. "I have an invitation." The boy looked curiously as Natt took a yellow, crumpled piece of paper out of his backpack.
"Plaziruski's back-to-school party?" Aiden said, confused.
"It's Plazezwski. He's in my class, I heard he throws the best parties of any teenager in the area, you know?" she explained. "He told me he took over from his older brother who was the one who threw the parties before he graduated."
