Polygon East Center High School — 02/28/2017, 7:02 AM.

It was a new school year, and for many there, the last year of school. Riley Wilde walked through the school hallways, trying to find some of her friends, but it seemed like the school was full of strangers. Her locker was at the end of the hallway, she walked there shyly, she should have felt relieved that it was her last year, but unlike everyone else, Riley could consider herself a little down, even sad, she wasn't ready to say goodbye to all of this.
"GIRL!" Riley turned and saw her two best friends, Izzy Portterz and Michael Foley, at the end of the hallway.
She smiled without showing her teeth and opened her arms when she saw them both running towards her.
"Hi, you crazy people."
"I miss you so much!" Izzy said, ruffling the younger girl's hair. "Going to Guadeloupe with just my family on vacation is no fun at all, but I met some hotties..."
"She already told me everythingt!"Michael said. "And I said we missed her a lot here in this backwater while she was in Mexico hooking up with foreign boys and drinking fancy drinks and — the boy slapped Izzy hard on the back, who roared in pain —, that bitch is the color of sin."
"You bitch! I'm burning up!" Riley laughed at the scene.
She had missed her friend during these two months. And she missed these two together every morning.
Izzy and Mike haven't changed, they've been the same since seventh grade, when they met after Izzy had to repeat the year. They've always been like that, shouting and singing everywhere, cursing and slapping, but it always ends in kisses, hugs and a few pictures for Snapchat. Despite the spontaneous and crazy friends Riley has, she's always been considered the most reserved of the group, more to herself. She knew her friends were pretty famous in the city, and hanging out with them made her automatically known, but to be honest, Rie didn't like receiving all this attention, and having all these people she'd never seen in her life complimenting her or commenting on how beautiful she was in her Instagram photos.
"Have you gotten this year's schedule yet?"

"No. I just got here, I was looking for my locker." Rie replied to Izzy.

"Can you believe we're in our long-awaited last year of school?" Michael said. "Oh, I'm so excited. I can't wait to see everyone again, meet the new teachers, the new students who arrive with their tails between their legs and everything." Izzy laughed at her friend's comment, she was just as excited.

"Come on girls, back to the old 707." Izzy linked arms with Foley and Riley and the three of them walked to the elevator to go up to the seventh floor, where the old 707 was, her classroom.

Yes, it seemed that nothing had changed between these three.

Polygon East Center High School; Entrance — 02/28/2017, 7:23 AM.

Nattalie Owen got out of her father's car, gave a slight wave with her hand and looked at the gigantic blue building that was in front of her POLYGON EAST CENTER HIGH SCHOOL. So this was it? This would be her new school and private hell? Nattalie stared at the entrance of the school for too long, so she decided to tighten the strap of her backpack on her shoulders and go in, after all, there was less than fifteen minutes left until the bell for the first class rang and she still had to go to the office to get her schedule, her locker number and things that every new student did on their first day of school.
The crowded hallways, full of strange faces stared at her with curious looks. Oh, how she hated all of this. She would love to have her best friend by her side at that moment. Not studying at the same school as her best friend was really a pain. Making new friends was exhausting. She didn't want new friends. She wanted the ones she had made years ago. She didn't want to study at a new school. She wanted to continue and graduate with her friends at her old school, where she had been studying for over five years. Nattalie wasn't prepared to go through this last year without her best friend and everyone else in her class.
"Hello." She stopped at the office, where a red-haired woman with red glasses looked up from her computer and stared at her. "I'm a new student. I need my schedule and... stuff."
"Name." The woman asked.
"Nattalie Owen." The printer started working, and as soon as it was ready, the woman handed the brunette girl a green paper.
"Your schedule, locker, room. Have a good school year." The woman smiled, a fake smile when she saw Nattalie. "And welcome to Polygon East Center High School."
