It was the next year for Verity Portman Astor at Eden Hall Academy. She was so happy to see her friends again.

She's been trying her hardest to keep up to date with them. She didn't really succeed.

Justin stayed in his town of San Diego and mostly went to the beaches during summer. He also got to go to Disneyland with his, now ex, girlfriend.

Zach was traveling the whole summer. He sent some postcards to his closest friends from all over Europe and Asia.

Matthew had nothing to do all summer. Well can you blame him, there's hardly anything to do in Casper, Wyoming.

Bryce was with his mom in Saint Paul for half of summer and his dad in Detroit for the other. He mostly spent it with his sister Rosalie, as his brother Anthony had the opposite routine.

Josue had to deal with his numerous siblings all summer. Being one of the oldest means he has to care for all the younger ones. He even got a new brother from his dad's new whore.

Skills spent the sunny days surfing on the beaches of Laconia, New Hampshire and the bad surf days working at his parent's restaurant.

Nathan went awol all summer and no one really heard from him at all.

Randy went on a road trip all around the United States. Making a circle to-and-from his town of Roswell, New Mexico. He told Lucas all about it.

Damian has been spending the summer watching sports and playing street puck with some neighborhood kids. He also worked out more with his dad and brothers.

Aneli has been appearing more with her mom at public events and stuff all around Minnesota, so Verity hasn't been able to talk with her as much.

Lucas became a new uncle to little Brian. He keeps in touch with everyone somehow. He's mostly talking with Randy.

Sean has been hitting the gym during the summer and grew his hair out a bit. He's still a little scrawny but not as bad as he was. He hasn't talked to anyone much.

Keenan spent half the summer with family in Europe. He's consistent with sending letters to the whole team at least once a week and gives them updates about each other.

Now, Verity has had a busy summer. Her siblings, Kataryna and Nokoa, were gone half the summer with their dad and the other half they were packing for college.

Verity has also been writing letters to her dad. She send him one every couple days and he tries to do the same. Her mom, Vivienne Astor, has been juggling a particularly difficult court case and spending time with her youngest.

She ended up sending Verity with her uncle, Elio Astor, over in Winnipeg. She got to spend time with her cousins Hazel, Penelope, and Jacques.

"Make good choices." Vivienne kissed the top of Verity's head as they hugged in front of the school. "And beat varsity's ass during the showdown, again."

Verity let go and looked at her mom. "Mom, we barely won."

"A win's a win." Vivienne told her as Union, their limo driver, drops the last bag. "Now, I'll be in town for a few days before flying back to Salem. Call if you need anything."

Verity nods. "That explains why Union is here."

"Oh and," Vivienne gives her daughter a stern look. "I have news. They transferred your father to a jail near here from Colorado." Verity smiled big. "But, I don't give permission for you to see him. Okay, have a good year!"
