Devon Point of View

I currently feel like a meat patty that is jumping from pan to fire grill. No matter what, I'm being cooked to be well done and that too, slowly.

I already knew women are the most vengeful creatures in all the universes from the little experiences I got to gather from my own family women. Now, as a person feeling the firsthand effects of it, I understood why people or why Almond family men always says that their wives are right. Period.

Obviously, no matter how much of meritorious or a dangerous ruthless gangster a man might be outside the threshold of a home, inside home, he will have to be a wife slave for a peaceful and happy life.

I've learned a very big lesson these few days.

"The wedding..." I started, when a pen-drive was placed on the table before me.

"My ideas for Zorion-Tiny's wedding location and themes are all here. They are not final and can be discussed accordingly. Have a look and let's have a discussion the next time we meet." Strange!

Very strange!

She dressed up so beautifully and -ahem – dignifiedly sexily and spoke in a very calm and charming manner but her words are still a little curt and to-the-point.

Her already pink lips are pained in a color that is somewhere between orange and red which gave out a call for a sound smooch.

Her eyes, I don't know if they are decorated with eyeliner or not because it was not at all obvious and seems so natural that for a second, I thought she put on cat eyes on herself.

Then there is here hair which was let loose in curls and waves, very voluminous and long that complimented her very unobvious cat look.

With a figure-hugging dress and a coat over the shoulder, a look of calm and compassion on face, for the first time in my life, I finally experienced it.

Experienced my male anatomy spinning inside my boxers like a fan and a carousel. Literally spinning and I could feel the fresh air produced by it.

Tch! So beautiful and thought-provoking.

"If there isn't anything, then I will leave now." She said, intending to stand up and just leave.

I looked around and saw that the café still only has just two or three sets of customers including us as it is quite early in the morning.

"Don't. It's still early so why not we have some hearty breakfast and a cup of coffee? This café is well known for its breakfast platter." I proposed.

I know she is trying to avoid spending time with me as much as she could and only wanted to deal work with me. But I also decided to seriously chase her and make sure our meetings have much more than just work.

Although I don't have a clear way to impress her yet, I'm sure I'll learn and understand soon.

"Come on, don't say no. We are already a family and we have to clear out all the awkwardness between us. Come, sit down first and order something to eat." I continued to pursue her to have breakfast with me.

As for the matter of the awkwardness between us, sigh! I still need to deal with it properly.

I thought for a moment and wanted to ask Ural for some advice but he isn't definitely in a position to advice anyone about these things.

Also, I don't trust his advices. His disguising ideas for me might be good ones but nothing more.

I wanted to ask family for some good words, however, I decided against it for now. If nothing that came out from my own brain works out, then, as a last option, family should be involved.
