No way. No way Heeseung doesn't know that I hate banana milk. Did I never tell him this? We've been friends for nearly thirteen years!

Juna turned the bottle in her hand and observed the packaging with a slight frown painted on her face. The pale yellow color of the drink, the green outline and words...

She focused her attention back on the English lecture that everyone fell asleep during. Even though she liked studying, she had to admit that English was hard and boring. After making sure that the teacher wasn't looking at the class, she turned around to see what Sunghoon was doing.

Juna rolled her eyes when she saw the boy's head on the table, supported by one arm, the other arm swinging at his side. He never paid attention during class and somehow, he always managed to get the highest marks.

Why can't I be like him, too?

"Ahn Juna!" Mister Choi suddenly yelled, waking half the students up from their slumbers, including a clueless Sunghoon.

Juna's head whipped around to the front of the classroom to see her teacher with arms crossed and tapping his foot impatiently on the ground.

"Why don't you come up here and tell our class about how we use adjectives in English?"

"A-Adjectives?" Juna slowly stood up but flinched when pressure was put on her ankle.

Mister Choi raised an eyebrow, expecting her to come up to the board. Juna couldn't move. Her feet were planted there and if she started walking, she would probably fall in front of everyone. There was no way she was going to embarrass herself. Especially not with Sunghoon and Boram in the same classroom.

"Actually, Mister Choi, I-"

Suddenly, a pointy object hit her on the back of the head. It didn't hurt, surprisingly. When she looked down at the floor, there was a paper airplane that looked like it was made in under ten seconds.

Juna looked in the direction that the plane flew from and her eyes landed on Sunghoon's. He looked away when their eyes met.

"Mister Park!" the teacher slammed a hand down on his desk. "In what world do you think this behavior is acceptable?!"

Sunghoon quietly gave a chuckle. "Sorry."

"Both of you - Juna and Sunghoon - I expected better from the top two students. Detention after school, you two! Don't even think about leaving the building until those apology essays are done."

Juna mentally cursed.

My parents. The school will call them. I'm dead, I'm dead. There's no way I can go home now.

"Mister Choi-"

"Park Sunghoon, why don't you tell us about adjectives instead?" the teacher said before Juna got the chance to make excuses for herself. She slumped down in her seat, feeling defeated

Great. I'm done for.

Park Sunghoon that jerk! I'd rather have answered that adjective question than get detention.

During lunch, Juna stared down at her phone, thinking of what to tell her parents. Heeseung was sitting next to her and giving her occasional worried glances. He would usually sit with his friends and she would sit with her study group but for that day only, he insisted they sat alone together.

"You know, you can always stay at my house," he said, tugging on her sleeve so she would look at him.

"I can't." Juna shook her head. "I don't want problems to build up."
