daddy pov:
my mornings always start with kisses and cuddles and big bear hugs. but this morning was different.
i woke up to NO kisses NO cuddles NO LOVE!!
it was 9am. the usual time the kiddos jump on me sometimes bonking heads but its okay-
i stand up i look i around and i listen
the evil giggles...i heard close
they were near....
" Maxxy!! " i call out
with a listen i hear a tiny gasp and shh
" EVELYN! " i scream out gently
" GOODMORNING DADDY " she shouts back
i stand up and walk to where the noise is and as i turn the corner! there it was
mud.
mud pies.
mud bath.
just. mud.
" what the hell " is all that comes out my mouth
it was to early for this crap and now theres mud on my rugged steps and hallway.
" get up right now " i say sternly as they both look at each other then back at me. i never raised my voice, but the kids no i dont like to see a messy house.
" GET UP NOW " i shout angrily as the JUMPED!! up
" what the HELL were you guys thinking!!! MUD in the house you know damn well mud stays outside now you guys are gonna go stand in the bathroom and your not gonna move until i come and get you! NOW GO " i shout as max looks like hes about to cry and evelyn has the most saddest face in the world i kind of felt guilty
but they listened and i ran to clean up my house.
it may or may not have taken longer then expected but when i finished cleaning i sighed as the mud definitely stained most parts of the rug.
" Max! Evelyn! " i called out walking upstairs
" bathroom daddy " Max yelled back.

Evelyn POV:
daddy yelled at us
i heard him mumbling while he was cleaning and all i did was hug max
he was crying and a little upset
" why did daddy yell at us " max sniffled
" because daddy likes clean! not a mess im sorry i got you introuble " i told him as he shrugged
" come on ill help you lift your arms " i say as i help him take his muddy shirt off and turn the bath water on
i help him in the bath and just let the water run on him
i took of my socks and put my hair up really messy so no mud gets on my pretty hair like daddy says.
" Max! Evelyn! " i hear him shout
" bathroom daddy " max replies as daddy walks in with a little smile.
" your a good sister " he says as i giggle but look back at Max i was still upset he raised his voice at my maxxy.
" here let daddy help you, and you take a big girl shower " he says as i grin
I LOVE big girl showers
he helped me undress and put me in the shower as i had a whole mini concert alone.

daddy pov:
i get the kids all cleaned up and have them sit in their beds thinking about what theyve done. first 25 minutes i went to check up on them and found Evelyn playing with her hair
i smile and move onto max who finally!!! is cleaning his room after ive been asking him to for the past 4 days.
i walk into max's room and he pouts
" happy daddy! i clean " he says sassily as i smile and run to pick him up and throw him on his bed as he squeals and giggles
i sit him on his bed and we have the longest talk about why he just never understands daddy likes a clean house and this little boy is a tornado in every room hes in.
" daddy love me still " he pouts
" daddy loves you always " i say kissing his lips as he giggles and hugs me
" no more mess you hear me " i say as he nods and gets back to cleaning
" are you gonna talk to evy! " he asks as i nod " be nice to my sissy okay daddy " he says with his pointer finger pointing at me as i smile and nod. " you got it man " i laugh.

i walk to evelyns room as i hear her sniffling i pout and walk to sit next to her
she looks up at me and leans on my shoulder " hello my darling " i say quietly
" hi my daddy " she responds. usually this was our saying, if she was ever angry at me she would say " no my daddy ". at least she wasnt angry with me
" it was all my fault, i didnt mean to get maxxy in trouble i just was gonna have fun with him daddy " she cries as i hold her in my arms and she crawls onto my lap, i sigh before saying " im sorry i raised my voice and you and max "
" its okay daddy we deserve it " she says rubbing her eyes i kiss her forehead and hug her tight " you know daddy doesnt- "
" like mess. i know daddy im sorry " she says cutting me off
" daddy you dont hate us right! i will buy you a new rug i saved up 50 dollars remember!! " she says happily jumping on me " no baby you keep your money daddy will get the rug cleaned lovey " i say as she snuggles into me.
" i love you snugglebug " i say as she smiles kissing my all over my face " i love you daddy " she says giving me a hug.
" wanna watch a movie with me and maxy " i ask as she snuggled into me " only if you carry me " she says as i laugh " okay okayy " i say carrying her to max's room where i strangely found this little boy sleeping in his toy box....." what are we gonna do with him!! " Evelyn says i smile and put her down
i carry max from the toy box to his bed as he whines " im here bubba " i say as he relaxes a little and i slip his pacifier in his mouth and evelyn gives him his special teddy bear
hes had this teddy bear for last 19 years it was his favorite.
and only Evelyn knew where he left his teddy i could never find it—
" come on daddy princess movie time " she says dragging me all the way to my room to snuggle and watch all her favorite princess movies. and when i say all. i mean ALL.
