Eternity season 2 (kagaya x amane)

Amane was the first one to wake up after their first night. It was still night time. The moon was still shining bright, her eyes went towards kagaya. 'sleeping peacefully' she thought. She looks at growing scar on his forehead a sign of his growing sickness the sign has nearly reached his left eye

"can't sleep" she heard kagaya his tone was still sleepy "no just" she tried to justify her being caught awake in the middle of the night "looking at my scar" kagaya looked at her with his black-purpulish eyes

"am worried about you" she said. kagaya looked at her she was only in her inner wears with her hair open reaching till her mid shoulders all messed up by their indulging activities

"there's no reason to be worried one day I have to sacrifice ourselves for our childrens" Kagaya was indicating to all people in the corps. Amane holds his hand "we, we have to sacrifice ourselves for our childrens" she said kissing his scar lightly. Even though Kagaya couldn't feel anything near his scar but he could feel Amane's body touching her hair brushing against his face and neck

"Muzan kibutsuji will stand here infront of us one day" he said looking at the entrace
"we will wait for his welcome" Amane said
Her face inches away from Kagaya "sleep you must be tired" he looks at her grey wolf eyes. her makeup was still their just the orange colour was smudge. But, the colour of her lips manage to stay there without any smudges even after all their kisses

He holds her chin and smudges the bright bloody red colour of her lips "you are the one who needs more rest then me" she said looking at him

"let's sleep" he said bringing her closer to him wrapping his arm around her. She held him in tight yet comfortable hug, she feels his body even though after sickness he was not fully skinny and bony he still has some physique like an average man, maybe an result of being from the same bloodline as the demon kind

Both of them closed their eyes trying to forget all their hardships and tragedy, trying to melt in each others arm

The next day

Another news broke out death of another demon slayer

Kagaya couldn't keep up with this anymore 100's of people dying because of him and he just sitting in his room sleeping all the time just because of some sickness this made him feel nothing but an arrogant hag of himself

"amane"
"yes"
"i wanna make some use of myself"
"what do mean by that"
"i wanna learn how swordfight"

His sentence made Amane stop herself from massaging his legs with a the anointment "what??" she asked just to make sure she heard that right

"i wanna learn swordfight" he said
"but why you are completely fine like this" she said
"i wanna make a use of myself I can't just lay here all day because of some sickness and hear that all of my childrens dying because of me" he looks at her like asking for permission
"as you wish" She said even though his condition was getting worse day by day but she didn't want make him feel like she was pitying him

Kagaya ordered one of the call Gyomei. After few moments Gyomei was standing infront of them at the entrace. Kagaya looks at 17 year old guy "Gyomei my child can I ask you something" he said "yes master you can ask me for anything" Gyomei said bowing his head "will you teach me how to swordfight" he asked "ofcourse master"

After couple minutes Gyomei and Kagaya were standing infront of each other in the front yard. Amane stands near them but maintaining a distance. Worry was clearly evident in her eyes

"are you ready master" Gyomei said taking position "yes Gyomei" Kagaya said taking his position too. Gyomei attacks at him and Kagaya stalked him with his full strength. Gyomei attacks him again and this time too Kagaya strikes his attack. But after fighting for a few minutes Kagaya's head got dizzy and he started falling back "KAGAYA!!" Amane screamed and ran towards him

She thankfully catched him before his back could hit the ground "KAGAYA KAGAYA KAGAYA!!!" she slaps his cheeks lightly in order to wake him up

With the help of Gyomei she took him to their room "am sorry this is all my fault" Gyomei said with his head hanging low with tears escaping from his eyes

"it's not your fault, you were just fulfilling your duty" she said "but master-" Gyomei couldn't utter any words "it's okay he will wake go in a few minutes he is just tired" Amane said trying hard to make it sound like she is not worried "are you sure mam" Gyomei asked "yes now you can go and rest" Amane said trying to make Gyomei not worried

Gyomei believed in Amane's word and went away from there. After his departure Amane burst into tears looking at Kagaya "please wakeup" she said bringing his hand close to her mouth kissing his knuckles

When Kagaya woke up he found Amane laying her back on the wall holding his hand with her eyes closed. Her cheeks showed the remaining of dried tears. Kagaya took his hand near her face holding her cheeks

This action made Amane woke up. And when she Kagaya infront of her awake, she slapped his cheeks lightly yet hard "What were you thinking?" she holds his cheek with tears escaping her eyes

"I am really useless aren't I always making you cry" he said holding her hands on his cheek and leaning into them

"you perfect just the way you no need to change or force yourself. I love you the whole demon slayer corp loves you and that's what matters" Amane said making Kagaya chuckle

"next time when you decide to go take me with you" Amane said connecting their foreheads

"I'm not going anywhere for now" Kagaya brought her more closer to him
