THEO, the Lupin family owl swooped in through (Y/N)'s bedroom window, causing her to startle awake. However, he hadn't come alone. He'd gotten Hedwig, Harry's owl with him as well. She reached over to Hedwig and gently caressed her forehead. Hedwig affectionately nipped at her finger. (Y/N) then hurriedly opened the letter from Harry.

Dear (Y/N),

Thank you for your gift. Those swiss chocolates you gifted me for my birthday were simply delicious! Sorry I couldn't reply to your letter earlier, I was just caught up with a few things.  For starters, I accidently may or may not have blown up my aunt--yes, like a balloon-- But don't worry, Minister Fudge said he's had it all under control.

Right now, I'm staying in the Leaky Cauldron, seeing as the Dursleys don't want me back home after the incident.  I'm glad, if I'm being honest, I don't want to see them again for a long time.

Ron, Hermione and the Weasley's are here too. We're all planning to shop for school supplies tomorrow, can you come?

Awaiting your reply,

Harry

(Y/N) quickly skimmed through it and her heart started to beat faster with excitement. She'd see all her friends tomorrow after a long time--more importantly, she'd be seeing Harry too. And that would happen only if her Dad allows her to, as she'd already gotten her robes, books and other supplies for the year.

She looked at Theo and the letter he'd brought. It was for her Dad. She got up from bed and rushed over to her father's bedroom and barged in.

"Dad, dad, dad!" She shouted as she violently shook his sleeping form. "Wake up, wake up, wake up! It's a letter for you!"

Remus slowly stirred before waking up. He squinted his eyes by the amount of sunlight that was entering the room through the curtains. "What is it?" he asked, his voice still groggy.

"It's a letter to you from Hogwarts!" she exclaimed. "C'mon, c'mon, open it faster, Dad! I wanna see what they wrote to you."

Remus cleared his throat before he opened the letter and started reading it. "Dear, Mr. Lupin. I, Albus Dumbledore wish to speak with you as soon as possible. Therefore, I plan on visiting you today at your house at around Four-Thirty in the evening. Please make yourself available. Thank you."

"What's this he has to speak to you about, dad?" (Y/N) asked.

"I don't know. Guess we'll just have to see."

Remus Lupin was patiently waiting for Dumbledore to show up. He hadn't met Dumbledore in a long time. He was partially nervous if he was being honest. Soon enough, the clock struck Four-Thirty and Dumbledore was at his door.

"Headmaster Dumbledore, please come in." he warmly greeted.

Meanwhile, in the other room, (Y/N) was keenly listening to every word they were going to speak. She'd just morphed on some Dog-ears and was hoping they would help her hear better.

"Thank you, Mr. Lupin, I do prefer treacle tarts with tea."

"No need of formalities, sir, please call me Remus."

"Alright, Remus, I guess I should rather get to the point." Dumbledore said, lightly stroking his beard. "You may or may not be aware that Hogwarts is in need of a new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor."

"Yes, I think (Y/N) did mention that once or twice."

"I think that you will be the perfect fit, Remus." Dumbledore said.
