"WAKE UP!" HERMIONE YELLED as she hurriedly shook (Y/N) up. (Y/N) stirred around before getting out of bed.

"'Mione?" (Y/N) yawned, looking around. She noticed that the rest of her roommates weren't there. "Where are 'Vati and Lav?"

"They went down early, something about wanting to catch up with their 'gal squad' in the Ravenclaw Common room." Hermione explained. (Y/N) groaned and laid back down.

"C'mon, now. I've got to tell you something important," Hermione urged.

"Oh, me too."

"You go first!" they both said.

"No, not me, you!" they said in unison once again.

"Alright, I'll go first." Hermione sighed as she took the lead. She'd always been the more mature one in the duo. She took out a necklace of some sort which had an hourglass on it and held it out for (Y/N) to see. "I've signed up for twelve classes."

"Twelve classes? Godric, Hermione, how do you plan on managing that? Also, what does this necklace have to do anything what that?"

"Always so impatient," Hermione muttered, rolling her eyes playfully. "This is a time turner. It helps me go back in time. I'll attend a class, then go back in time to attend my next one."

"But aren't time turners extremely rare to acquire?" asked (Y/N) as she leaned in to take a closer look at the time-turner.

"Yes. I spoke with Professor McGonagall and she requested the Ministry to lend it to me, and luckily, they did!" Hermione said with excitement. "Can you believe it? So many new subjects for us to learn!"

(Y/N) smiled encouragingly as Hermione continued to rant.

"Oh sorry! I didn't realize I was rambling." Hermione apologized. "You can speak now."

"Thank you, your majesty for granting me the permission to talk." (Y/N) said as she stood and took a bow. Hermione chuckled softly.

"Anyway," (Y/N) started. "You remember yesterday when my dad called me when we were at the teacher's table, talking to Hagrid?"

Hermione nodded.

"Apparently Dumbledore wanted to talk to me about Sirius Black. He told me that Black was my father--" Hermione gasped. "--and went on to narrate a huge story. He sold the Potters out to You-Know-Who. And then for some reason, I was there at their house when the whole thing happened. Then he instructed Hagrid to give me to Remus Lupin, who at the time was my godfather. And then he went after Peter Pettigrew and eventually killed him and twelve other muggles which shipped him off to Azkaban. After that, I was taken under the care of my dad."

"Oh (Y/N) -- "

"So my dad couldn't adopt me, 'cause Black didn't put me up for adoption. I just can't believe him. He lied to me my whole life--"

"How?"

"He told me that I was in no way related to Sirius Black. " (Y/N) deadpanned "And now, I just don't feel like talking to him.

"Oh."

"Y'know what I don't get in this whole story?"

"What?"

"It's the fact that Black left me at the Potter household, when he knew that Voldemort was coming in later that night to murder them. I can only assume that he didn't care enough about me. But Dumbledore says that Black might be coming to take me back. What do you think, 'Mione?"

"I honestly don't know, (Y/N). This seems to be such complicated case." Hermione said and (Y/N) left to change into her robes. Both of them were just about to step out of their dorm, but then they both said:
